Job Description


We are looking for Solar Panel Washers to take up manual labor tasks and support operations in worksites. This will be working for one of our solar energy clients for a 6-8 month contract with possibility of extension.


One of the most important general laborer responsibilities is to work on a commercial roof assisting solar panel installers with robotic solar panel washing.


Responsibilities



  • Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material

  • Assist solar installers with any needs

  • Wash solar panels

  • Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks

  • Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions


Requirements



  • Must pass background check and drug screen

  • Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass motor vehicle report

  • Previous experience working on a roof preferred

Nevada Copper (TSX:NCU) owns Pumpkin Hollow - the only large-scale, fully-permitted copper project in North America. Located in Nevada, USA, Pumpkin Hollow has substantial reserves and resources including copper, gold and silver. Initial production is planned by end of 2019. With global mine supply declining and demand increasing, this is the right project at the right time.

Purpose of the Position

The Supply Chain Specialist provides support within the Supply Chain Department to ensure all goods and services are ordered and procured appropriately for operational consistency.

Accountability

The Supply Chain Specialist reports to the Supply Chain Manager in all aspects of supply chain and procurement.

Responsibilities and Duties


  • Coordinate and plan supply chain planning bid process, soliciting, and supplier evaluation.


  • Analyze working capital and identify savings opportunities.


  • Coordinate and manage records policy and procedures.


  • Ensure Customer relationship with vendors.


  • Prepare and populate templates for Operational Readiness.


  • Ensure right materials and services are purchased and delivered at the right price, quality, quantity, and date required to support the planned production schedule.


  • Daily coordination with operations team to ensure that materials are available prior to point of need.


  • Maintain data integrity in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (ie. SAP, MS Dynamcis) for suppliers, prices, purchase orders and stock items.


  • Manage Contractor Management Program


  • Assist Procurement Specialist when required


Health and Safety


  • Ensure that all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines are followed.


  • Support the site safety culture through leadership and regularly engaging with and holding the workforce accountable for safe work practices.


  • Participate in health and safety meetings and risk reviews as required.


Knowledge/Education


  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, logistics, business, or equivalent experience preferred


  • High School Diploma or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain or related field, required


  • Familiarity with the mining industry preferred


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


  • Knowledge and experience with all shipping functions, foreign and domestic


  • Prior experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software preferred (ie. SAP, MS Dynamics, etc.)


  • Ability to gather, develop and analyze data


  • Strong safety behaviors including familiarity with and adherence to all MSHA standards required

Physical and Mental Demands and Requirements


  • Lift and carry up to 35 lbs. in weight.


  • Possession of a valid drivers license

  • Walk on uneven ground.


Work Schedule and Personal Protective Equipment

The incumbent is expected to work a 40 hour/week schedule, primarily from Monday through Friday. Personal Protective Equipment required for the field work portion of this position includes, but is not limited to, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots. All equipment must be MSHA approved as applicable.
