As a counselor your responsibilities will include:the following:


  •  provide for the special needs of program participants. 

  • Implement evidence-based practices that teach positive coping skills to adults with severe mental health challenges. 

  • Provide crisis prevention and intervention. 

  • Provide progress notes for all clients and Special Incident reports. 

  • Monitor and document program participants accessing of medications. 

  • Give accurate, complete and timely reporting of program and clients to staff as they begin their shift. 

  • Attend and participate in clinical case reviews, staff meetings, and monthly CSN in-service training's. 

  • Assist Program Manager in maintaining a clean, comfortable and safe facility. 

  • On-Call Counselors may be able to move into regular counselor positions when there are openings.

Extensive 'On the Job' training provided with our programs and a Generous Benefit package for Regular staff.

Experience Preferred but will train. Proof of High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass Finger Print/Background check,(no DUI's) and Health Screening. Must have reliable transportation.

Compensation: Regular Full or Part time range from $13.50 to $14.50 Day-shift or Overnight, depending on experience and education.  . On-Call Relief $13.00 per hour.

Athena House is a long term residential treatment facility serving adult women who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. The program features a safe, supportive environment in which women who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol may recover and re-enter the mainstream of society, remain out of the criminal justice system and maintain continuous sobriety.    

: The Counselor is expected to provide individual and group counseling for women in residential treatment. In addition, the Counselor is expected to perform administrative work at the direction of the Assistant Director and/or Division Director.

 EDUCATION:  


  1. High School Diploma or GED

  2. Register, obtain and maintain a Counselor Certification as defined by the California Code of Regulations, chapter 8: Certification of Alcohol & Other Drug Counselors. We are a large preschool with 5 separate classrooms; infants through Transitional Kindergarten. We have approximately 20 teachers on staff and are looking to hire two Subs-On-Site. Agreed upon hours are guaranteed even if no teachers are absent. When not substituting in the classroom, SOS works in the office to assist with simple administrative tasks (or has the option to take the time off). We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable with changing diapers for infants and to playing with our preschoolers, though SOS is rarely lead teacher. This position would appeal to someone who likes to be on the floor with the kids and have less responsibility with running the classroom. Schedules: Monday through Friday 9:00-5:30 and Monday through Friday 7:30-4:00.

We are also looking for an afternoon preschool teacher that works with our older children. Schedule is Monday through Friday 1:30-5:30.

Summer Camp Instructor, Seasonal - $16 per hour

The Safari West Wildlife Foundation is looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to join our summer camp team. Our day camp, Camp Nyika, will be held at the Safari West 400-acre wildlife preserve in the Mayacamas Mountains in Santa Rosa in June and July 2020.

The primary responsibility of summer camp counselors is to lead daily camp activities and educational activities over the daily four-hour camp window. Counselors will work with certified and trained naturalists to offer a robust, hands-on learning experience for youth.

This position is both a physical and intellectual job and requires the ability to work in all types of weather, safely navigating dirt trails, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

In addition to being responsible for camper safety, summer camp instructors are responsible for engaging campers in educational lessons modeled after naturalist safari guiding, identifying species and their greater ecological role in conservation.

With daily changing weather and animal conditions, summer camp instructors are expected to be flexible with changing priorities and be a willing and collaborative team member.

Develop and execute process validation protocols and appropriately document results in reports (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Complete accurate and timely manufacturing documentation including manufacturing procedures, materials records, etc.
Identify hazards and mitigate risk associated with identified hazards in Process FMEA.
Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, and FDA regulations.
Additional Duties:

Apply Lean and Six-Sigma principles to implement improvements to manufacturing and business processes.
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
Maintain GMP compliance relating to Document Control, R&D, and Quality Assurance.
Ensure that all regulatory and internal policies are followed.
Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, processes, and equipment.
Assist engineering manager in development of engineers providing assistance with coaching and mentoring.
May lead and sometimes supervise small professional staff / resources for projects
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in from a four-year college or university; or related major preferred; Masters of Science (MS) degree in or Masters degree related to preferred; PhD degree in ; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering from a four-year college or university; or related major in Life Sciences preferred

Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities:


• Pulling, packing, and shipping orders

Job Description:



  • Installation of Food Service Equipment. This includes: hoods, walk-ins, refrigerators and freezers, ranges, dishmachines, wood and metal cabinets, boots, furniture and unrelated equipment

  • Drive service and delivery truck to the intended destination to deliver or pick up equipment with the use of a liftgate

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, high hacks, dollies and other related moving equipment

  • Use of various types of power and hand tools, including: drills, saws, grinding wheels, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, tubing benders, files, etc.

  • Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals for cleaning up equipment

  • Keep all company vehicles, equipment, tools, and premises clean and ready for use

  • Ensure doorways, elevators, and hallways are sufficient to allow equipment to safely and effectively be delivered

  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor


Preferred Qualifications, But Not Required (on the job training will be provided):



  • Basic forklift skills

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge

  • Basic mechanical knowledge

  • Proficiency at welding various metals including stainless steel, steel, aluminum

  • Proficiency at soldering of piping and metals

  • General knowledge of the operation and repair of Food Service Equipment

  • Ability to read architectural drawings


Requirements



  • A willingness to learn is a must.

  • Ability to work early and late hours Monday-Friday. The hours are determined by the schedule of the jobsite and thus subject to change. Occasional overnight stays out of town.

  • Must pass criminal background check, initial and random drug tests

  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License and be approved by Castino’s insurance provider

  • Able to lift heavy equipment and tools weighing at least 75 lbs. as well as perform other tasks assigned
