Applicant MUST be knowledgeable in Electrical Theory, Codes and Practice relating to residential and light commercial work. Must be proficient in the use of romex, MC cable, flexible metal conduit EMT and Rigid conduit (up to 2”). Also including ability to “cut-in” receptacles, lighting outlets and switches, plan and do Service changes, sub panel installation, kitchen and bath remodels, lighting and power outlets, A/C and EV, etc. as well as Troubleshooting and repair. We often deal with old knob and tube wiring and Low voltage wiring including phone, CATV and Ethernet. Will need tools, vehicle and phone. 

Hourly wages for P/T, F/T based on experience (typically $35-$50).

  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

Requirements

You will earn $14 an hour, to start. No Background Check Required! This company believes in SECOND CHANCES and prefers to promote from within.


 


To be considered, you must have at least one (1) year of either MIG or Flux Core welding experience, basic math skills, and the ability to:



  • Read and interpret drawings (including weld symbols) and specifications to determine the proper location of attachments, the weld size and the configuration.

  • Operate a bandsaw.

  • Stand for your entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • You must also be willing to wear protective equipment, including safety glasses, ear plugs, insulated welding gloves, leather sleeves, and a welding hood.


 


As a welder, you will be responsible for working on the small pole assembly line to weld components and assemblies using MIG/MAG welding techniques. You will also be using:



  • · Chipping hammers, wire brushes, motorized grinders, and motorized wire brushes to clean welded areas.

  • Pneumatic and magnetic drills to drill various size holes on pole assemblies, as needed.

  • Weld gauges to measure weld sizes, standards and metrics.

  • Oxy-fuel cutting torches and plasma-arc torches to cut steel and pre-heat parts that need to be welded.

  • An assembly line conveyor system to move tubular shafts into position for cutting on a band saw and for fitting.

Immediate openings for Full time Mig Welders and Robotic Welders for Kirkwood Metal Tube Fabricator. Minimum 1 to 2 years experience welding on steel or stainless. Welding Certification preferred.
