SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the smooth operation of all the front of house areas, including the lobby, ticket office and the audience seating area, during the run of the show. The Audience Services Technician ensures a friendly, welcoming, professional, efficient and accessible service to the public, attending to patron needs and overseeing their safety and well-being before, during, and immediately after events.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional duties not listed, but within classification.


  1. Complete pre-show safety checklist.


  2. Unlock doors and turn on lobby lights prior to events.


  3. Check public areas, including restrooms, lobby, theatre seating area, and front of building and take care of any appearance and/or safety problems.


  4. Reports maintenance issues of the theatre building.


  5. Insure signs or notices relevant to a particular show, are in place.


  6. Oversee stuffing and distribution of programs.


  7. Makes sure that aisles are clear of people's feet or their belongings.


  8. Ensure that food and drink are not brought into the theatre


  9. Resolve customer seating issues.


  10. Seat latecomers and patrons returning to their seats during the event, using a flashlight and observing hold policies.

  • Fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the Service Team Members while supervising their progress and activity with the guests throughout the day.

  • Communicate on behalf of Service Team to Culinary staff to ensure food comes out fresh, hot, and in a timely manner to our guests.

  • You must refer to the Service Team Member job description and agree that it is part of your position as well.

  • Ensuring that all products in the drink machines and cold case are fresh, stocked, and looking professional.

  • Ensuring the maintenance of all areas for cashiers.

  • Managing the flow of Service Team Members and Specialists to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the shift. Anticipate the needs of the Service Team staff so that the store functions seamlessly with a positive energy.

  • Schedule Service Team staff. Crew Leads / Shift Lead / Supervisor FOH & BOH is generally offered as full time or part time restaurant job.

The Lead Host responsibilities include:

Managing the flow of our busy door with confident warmth

Overseeing our reservations book

Taking ownership over entire reception organization

Helping the team deliver on the preferences of our many regular guests

Keeping a dialogue with the kitchen before & during service

Delegating daily responsibility to the rest of the host team

work with Bussers on duty to delegate dirty tables or guest that may need busser assistance

Relate with clients when they arrive and when they are leaving

Thank clients for their patronage when they are leaving

Communicate with customers while they wait for their drink and food order

Ensure complete and consistent cleanliness of the hostess area

Be available to answer calls and to greet guests

Provide assistance to servers with tallies at shift ends

Supervise host book efficiently and oversee clients seating arrangements

Handle clients amicably and with understanding whether they have reservation or not

Make great and impressive first impression on clients

Schedule reservation for guests both in person and over the phone

Communicate with supervisors or management on any issue related to customers

Handle all cases related to guest courteously and professionally

Maintain diplomacy while relating with clients.
