H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Video Conferencing, Audio / Visual, and Help-Desk Support Specialist – Intermediate to provide Information Technology Operations Support to Information Management Branch at Fort Gordon, GA.  Support will entail supporting room and desktop video conferencing systems and providing Tier-1 and Tier-2 support for networks and computer systems.


 The Video Conferencing, Audio / Visual, and Help-Desk Support Specialist responsibilities will include:



  • Utilizing room and desktop video conferencing.

  • Supporting desktop presentations in a classroom environment.

  • Monitoring the execution of and assisting in the purchasing of life-cycle of VTC equipment to ensure it remains consistent with the organization’s current culture and IT Service.

  • Management strategy Maintaining a master library of both mission and support software, including Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintaining current inventories of all network and systems-related hardware

  • Developing reports to satisfy downward-directed data calls, audits, warranty and other maintenance support contracts/agreements, lifecycle management and budget projections.

  • Supporting Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems as provided y the DoD Secure Baseline Host-Army desktop installation image.

  • Maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Active directory Domain Services.

  • Identifying and anticipating server performance, availability, capacity, or configuration problems.

  • Diagnose and repair failed PCs


Required Qualifications:



  • Security Clearance: “Secret” level clearance

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years general Information Technology / Information Systems experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Certifications

    • Security+ CE

    • MCSA: Windows 10

    • CompTia A+ CE (desirable)

    • MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician (desirable)



  • Must possess experience or knowledge to support assigned responsibilities to include:

    • DoD Secure Baseline Host-Army (SBH-A) desktop installation image.

    • Procedures required to conduct room video conferencing as well as desktop global video services support, to include audio and video presentations

    • Active Directory management and reporting tools, PowerShell scripts, and other DoD and Army approved applications as needed.

    • Network protocols such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, and Domain Name System and directory services.

Overview:


The On-Site Support Specialist position is a mid-level technical position providing support for our Video Systems products to a high-profile firm in Woonsocket, RI. In this role, the on-site specialist will be a daily support presence at the client’s corporate location, acting as an extension of our support team dedicated solely to this client. Will be assigned as the primary point of contact, solving their technical problems and helping them get the most out of their video technology. This role requires a high level of customer service while along with a technical skillset.


Responsibilities:



  • Take responsibility for smooth running of all proprietary video systems.

  • Evaluate system performance and report any issues or trends; proactive approach.

  • Help maintain and implement our video technology and perform daily checks of video equipment.

  • Provide technical support inclusive of troubleshooting and repair of video hardware and software related issues, including peripheral devices, connectivity to local and wide area networks. Setup of new equipment based on a standard configuration.

  • Perform analysis and diagnosis and resolution of complex issues and recommend and implement corrective solutions.

  • Take ownership of issues and professionally manage them through resolution.

  • Fielding service requests via a ticketing system, email and over the phone. Log relevant incident/service request details per support procedures. Ensure tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolved.

  • Interface with support, development and management teams.

  • Maintain and develop a professional level of understanding of our core technologies and products.

  • Maintain integrity of stores that are listed in Central Management (CM) database. Assist with setup of analytic cameras in CM as needed.

  • Configure cameras as needed to ensure proper storage is met per compliance requirements.

  • Assist with ensuring remote connectivity is established as new units are set up in CM.


Requirements:



  • Current experience troubleshooting and providing remote technical support in a Help Desk or Call Center environment

  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks; able to work independently and within a team.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of CCTV systems including HVR/NVR equipment and Analog/IP camera ONVIF and H.264 streaming a deciding plus.

  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Linux and Windows Desktop Operating Systems a plus.

Qualifications


·       Professional Technical Certification is preferred like CCNA, Vidyo certification
