We are looking for a relationship with a journeyman electrician with experience. Licensed or working on License is OK. Working with our small Team means that honesty, integrity, good communication skills, attention to detail and health and safety consciousness are a must. Must be able to take instruction and learn on the job. 

 

Applicant MUST be knowledgeable in Electrical Theory, Codes and Practice relating to residential and light commercial work. Must be proficient in the use of romex, MC cable, flexible metal conduit EMT and Rigid conduit (up to 2”). Also including ability to “cut-in” receptacles, lighting outlets and switches, plan and do Service changes, sub panel installation, kitchen and bath remodels, lighting and power outlets, A/C and EV, etc. as well as Troubleshooting and repair. We often deal with old knob and tube wiring and Low voltage wiring including phone, CATV and Ethernet. Will need tools, vehicle and phone. 

Hourly wages for P/T, F/T based on experience (typically $35-$50).

SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 6 PM. Occasional shift change or O/T required at times.

Description


  • Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, drains, water supply and gas equipment

  • Replace new fixtures, faucets and equipment as needed

  • Snake drains and make repairs to systems both inside and exterior of the building

  • Repair gas, water and drain leaks in a professional manner for long lasting results

  • Present options and pricing to customers 

  • Complete approved repairs/improvements in a timely manner and collect payment

Hours & Working Conditions


  • Average 40 hours per week (typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays)

  • Rotating weekends schedule as required

  • May work outside, in crawlspaces, and attics

  • Knowledge of connecting methods for copper, PVC, PEX, CSST, ABS and other types of pipe

  • Knowledge of safe handling of power tools and specialized plumbing tools

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Troubleshoot plumbing equipment including toilets, shower and bath valves, disposals, instant hot water dispensers, water heaters, tankless water heaters, drain, water supply and gas piping

  • Present findings and options to customers, providing advise as needed/requested

  • Complete approved repairs, improvements, or installations within industry standard hours per repair pricing guide

  • Clean equipment/work area

  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work

  • Complete all paperwork required by management, collect for work performed

  • Maintain truck inventory, keep assigned service vehicle organized and clean

  • Track vehicle maintenance and alert management when maintenance is necessary

  • Contact the office following the completion of each call, providing requested information regarding the work completed, and receiving dispatch instructions for the next call

  • Provide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements

  • Provide customers with information on new equipment when repairs exceed a pre-determined cost and/or existing equipment exceeds 10 years of age

  • Perform equipment installations if needed

  • Perform maintenance work if needed

  • Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements

  • Other duties as needed 

Job Requirements


  • Journeyman license or equivalent

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

  • Valid drivers license

  • Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)

  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide repairs at the service technician level

  • Two or more years of experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or service technician

  • Standard plumbing technician tools

  • Neat, clean, professional appearance

Responsibilities

Description

Performs a variety of semi-skilled to skilled work to maintain water wells, chemical feeder equipment, pumps, motors, telemetry sensory equipment, treated water storage facilities, water distribution pipelines and related appurtenances, sanitary sewers for the collection of wastewater, pumping equipment for water and wastewater, and water and wastewater treatment plant equipment and operations. Performs moderate to difficult technical and mechanical work in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities. May provide direction to peers and subordinates in performance of routine day-to-day work activities, but does not have supervisory responsibility. Conducts and administers all company work related efforts and activities within the rules, regulations and responsibilities of the most current company safety policy and OSHA regulation. The Operator will respond operational emergencies as deemed necessary by his/her Supervisor. The Operator will also assist customers with concerns of water quality, delivery, odors, vector control and treatment. This position also provides technical and/or physical assistance to other operations personnel, contractors and developers and any other duties assigned.   • Maintains wastewater lift stations. Collects and interprets operational readings to maximize the efficiency of operation. Makes operational control adjustments and modifications to protect public health and to ensure system stability.


  • Obtains samples and performs fats, oils and grease sanitary sewer inspections to determine proper compliance with Company standards. Maintain industrial pre-treatment as required by regulations and Company standards.

Requirements


  • Work requires specialized knowledge of wells, pumps, motors, chlorine generators. Knowledge of plumbing principles and ability to complete repairs to system, or make decisions regarding their repairs. Work requires high degree of knowledge of plumbing materials and methods as related to utility improvements. Appropriate certification is required.


  • Arizona locations require a ADEQ Operator License in specific area of concentration; i.e, Wastewater Treatment, Water Distribution, Collections, or Water Treatment. Maintain a valid state drivers license. May require a CDL (Commercial Drivers License), with appropriate classification/endorsements.


  • Texas locations require a TCEQ Class D Operator License in specific area of concentration; i.e., Wastewater or Basic Water Operations. Or a Class I Collections or ability to obtain within one year from date of hire. Maintain a valid state drivers license.


  • Work requires the ability to read maps, manuals, work orders, and blueprints.


  • Work requires the ability to perform general math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as knowledge of common water calculations and their applications.


  • Work requires the ability to write work orders, memos, letters, reports and keep accurate daily records at well sites, lift stations and treatment facilities.

  • Make sure all stock is off the floor and store in proper location.

  • Make sure all stock is dated, including individual items that have been removed from original cases. Rotate stock according to dates using the First In First Out process.

  • Dispose of any leftovers that are not dated. Remove all dented cans from the storeroom and place in office.

  • Perform a daily inventory of staple items.

  • Complete sanitation duties, including cleaning of work areas, floors, trashcans, food carts, equipment, etc. and any scheduled cleaning assignment.


 


The ideal candidate will have:



  • Relevant dining experience.

  • One year experience working in a Healthcare setting.

  • Ability to demonstrate effective reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills, required.

  • Full understanding and effective application of sanitation, food borne illness, and cross-contamination policies and procedures as well as the use of HACCP protocols.

  • Knowledge of dining room operational procedures and etiquette, proper small wares handling, as well as knowledge of residents rights.

  • Willingness to work with and interact with older adults.

Rainbow Municipal Water District provides safe drinking water and wastewater services to agricultural, residential, and commercial customers in our 82-square mile service area that includes the unincorporated communities of Rainbow, Bonsall, and parts of Vista, Oceanside, and Fallbrook.


Our District is embarking on a Water Service Upgrade Project that will involve replacing all water meters in the District within the next two years. We are currently hiring a temporary Utility Worker to be part of the Construction crew for the duration of this project.

    The Opportunity

    Assists Management in maintaining inventory and delivering product orders to various outlets, in accordance with Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

    Essential Functions:


    • Delivers food, beverage and other products throughout the facility, in an efficient and timely manner.

    • Stocks product in commissary; ensures that inventory levels of supplies are maintained

    • Reports all needed commissary repairs to the supervisor.

    • Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience:

    • 1 year experience in a warehouse setting, strongly preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


    • Must be pleasant, courteous with ability to adhere to the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

    • Ability to work cooperatively with others

    • Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders


    • Basic math skills for counting inventory

    • Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

    Physical Requirements:


    • Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 165 lbs.

    • Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility

    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift

    Environmental Working Conditions:


    • Warehouse environment, noise level may be moderate to high

    • Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season


    • Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment
