We are seeking a Service Manager/Teacher HVAC/Service Trainer HVAC to become an integral part of our team! You will design and conduct training programs to improve individual and organizational performance. Job Description

Special Education Teacher




The Special Education Teacher will oversee and manage all classroom curriculum and activities. In addition, they will develop all academic programs and prepare Individualized Education Plans for all students.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on children and activities, as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.


  • Teach socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement.


  • Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.


  • Establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among students.


  • Confer with parents, administrators, testing specialists, social workers, and professionals to develop individual educational plans designed to promote students' educational, physical, and social development.


  • Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects such as English, mathematics, or social studies.


  • Employ special educational strategies and techniques during instruction to improve the development of sensory- and perceptual-motor skills, language, cognition, and memory.


  • Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.

  • Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage.


  • Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations.


  • Administer standardized ability and achievement tests, and interpret results to determine students' strengths and areas of need.


  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of secondary school programs.

  • Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required.


  • Select, store, order, issue, and inventory classroom equipment, materials, and supplies.


  • Perform administrative duties such as assisting in school libraries, hall and cafeteria monitoring, and bus loading and unloading.


  • Provide assistive devices, supportive technology, and assistance accessing facilities such as restrooms.


  • Visit schools to tutor students with sensory impairments, and to consult with teachers regarding students' special needs.


  • Provide interpretation and transcription of regular classroom materials through Braille and sign language.


  • Sponsor extracurricular activities such as clubs, student organizations, and academic contests.


  • Other duties as required.

The Title IA Teacher serves as a part-time Title I Instructional Specialist (teacher) for students during the regular school day, providing instructional services in the areas of reading, language arts, mathematics, library, counselor, or other authorized area of instructional services under the existing contract. On-site: San Bernardino, CA     


  1. Provide an engaging and safe environment that encourages student success in the areas of reading, language arts, and mathematics.

  2. Deliver supplemental instruction through push-in and pull-out programs during the school day and/or after school.

  3. Implement supplemental programs in the areas of reading, language arts, and mathematics, according to Title I regulations, and FACTS Education Solutions’ procedures, policies, and contract requirements.

  4. Analyze assessment data to create individualized learning paths and activities that supplement classroom instruction.

  5. Incorporate the use of online lessons and activities via iPads/tablets/laptops.

  6. Provide district, school leadership, parents, and classroom teachers with pre and post assessment data, student progress reports, and supporting compliance documentation as required.

  7. Establish strong parent involvement programs and relationships that encourage student participation and success.

  8. Collaborate and establish relationships with colleagues to create a strong partnership/school community.

  9. Manage inventory of Title I resources.

  10. Provide all compliance and other related documentation to FACTS Ed in the timelines communicated.



Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred.



  1. Minimum 3 years of experience working in a classroom setting or comparable experience.

  2. Experience working with English Language Learners preferred.
