EnCorps STEM Teachers Program’s vision is to realize a day where all students, regardless of socioeconomic status, are inspired and prepared to pursue their dreams. STEM Teaching Fellows transition to teaching careers within 1-3 years with the support of EnCorps training, guest teaching field experience, credentialing guidance, EnCorps cohort and the EnCorps network of schools. When you become an EnCorps Fellow, you are committing to providing access to quality education within low income schools, supporting students who need your mentorship the most.

The EnCorps team will provide guidance as you begin the process to become a teacher and the broad network of fellows provides first hand experience from people who, like you, transitioned into a teaching career.

Fellowship details:


  • Fellows may choose a licensed or non-licensed teaching pathway. If licensed, they will earn their license from a university partner over the course of 4-14 months

  • EnCorps will place you in a local partner school for 1 semester where you will spend 2-5 hours per week as a volunteer Guest Teacher

  • Fellows train online/on-demand and at 3 in-person cohort events each year by participating in enhanced skills preparation workshops

  • Fellows receive extensive support and mentoring from the EnCorps staff, their cohort, and EnCorps’ network of schools

  • With the help of EnCorps, you will develop your unique timeline to become a paid teacher, in as little as 9 months, or 3 years depending on your personal goals.

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior Systems Administrator - Administrative Systems is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining administrative systems and strategies for the Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP), LLC. These systems currently include Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), Accounting/Finance, Document Management (DM), E-mail Marketing systems, and related integration tools for these applications. The Sr. SAAS is responsible system configuration and maintenance (enhancements/upgrades), creation of reports and dashboards, end-user training, data integrations and data consistency and integrity. The Sr. SAAS regularly collaborates with functional leaders to identify, develop, and implement changes and enhancements in response to business requirements. An underlining knowledge is also required of hardware, virtualization (VMWare), networking, operating systems, system configuration and general database administration. The Sr. SAAS position also participates as a member of the team with CRSP project efforts. The Sr. SAAS is responsible for problem solving systems issues, keeping informed of technology trends and information, and recommending appropriate system solutions and improvements. The Sr. SAAS provides direct system support to end users issues and requests.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 



  • 1)    Serve as primary system administrator for all administrative, sales/marketing and client management solutions, including CRM, Accounting, Document Management, E-mail Marketing, and any integrated systems. This includes system configuration (maintenance, system enhancements/upgrades, etc.), creation of reports and dashboards, end-user training and data integrations, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

  • 2)    Collaborate with functional leaders to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

  • 3)    Provide all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, troubleshooting end user inquiries, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks for the administrative systems.

  • 4)    Maintain the consistency and integrity of various administrative databases and records, correcting and adjusting data records as needed.

  • 5)    Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and outside consultants who may assist with maintaining the CRM, Accounting, Document Management and other administrative, sales/marketing and client management solutions. Some of our current solutions include:

  • a)    Salesforce (CRM environment)

  • b)    Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains accounting system.

Setup and maintain the CCS Lab environment.

Required Skills:

Must have or be able to attain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance within 6-9 months.

  • Develop a comprehensive life-cycle management plan for all NMRC’s server and data storage devices, NAS, SAN on both Windows and Linux platforms to include a technology implementation roadmap

  • Develop a backup strategy and submit the plan for government approval

  • Perform regular backups of servers and network files, and as required, and  restoration of files

  • Perform incremental backups each night, and full backups of all network files weekly

  • Properly label all media and transport the last weekly backup of the month to an off-site storage location

  • Maintain and clean backup equipment

  • Perform test restores from backups weekly and document the results

  •  Develop a preventative maintenance plan for network devices and perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance of the network, systems, and components according to the plan

  • Perform preventative maintenance at least bi-monthly and include but not be limited to networking equipment, servers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Storage Area Network (SAN), and tape libraries

Summary: The Storage/Systems Administrator will develop and support storage solutions for the NMRC.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop a comprehensive life-cycle management plan for all NMRC’s server and data storage devices, NAS, SAN on both Windows and Linux platforms to include a technology implementation roadmap

  • Develop a backup strategy and submit the plan for government approval

  • Perform regular backups of servers and network files, and as required, and restoration of files

  • Perform incremental backups each night, and full backups of all network files weekly

  • Properly label all media and transport the last weekly backup of the month to an off-site storage location

  • Perform test restores from backups weekly and document the results

· Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization


· Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes


· Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues


· Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure


· Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures


· Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions


· Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance


Requirements:


· Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required


· 3-5+ years of database, network administration, or system administration experience


· System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus


· Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent


· Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols


· Experience with scripting and automation tools


· A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans


· Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing help desk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols

Job Description


Our client is a large and growing multi-site/ multi-state, POS focused, service provider. Due to expansion we are conducting a search for a corporate Systems Administration/ IT leader. This role will oversee a team of 1-2 individuals focused tech support of the various locations. This position will be involved with managing IT and system operations and hardware/ servers for new stores, over site and management of numerous MSA's. This position will be responsible for the Master POS System which includes modules involving CRM, CMMS, and mechanical controls. Additional software packages will support accounting, finance, HR, and marketing.


 


-The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years managing the IT operations for a company including servers and software as well as MSA’s with vendors.


-Previous supervisory experience


-Must be passionate about IT and solutions as well as staying up to date on new IT offerings. Ideally being able to partner with C-Suite to provide vision and guidance


- Ideally previous experience with managing departmental budget and costs.
