Our ideal candidate has FOH or BOH experience (or even better - both), and is available to work part time, on call. Our Event and Catering staff are responsible for the food and beverage service during special events or catering functions. THE DETAILS:

Events and Catering Staff are primarily responsible for the hands on execution of events, table service duties as well as prep work and closeout tasks.


  • The ability to take direction efficiently and effectively.

  • Assist with food and table prep before the event begins.

  • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling standards.

  • Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.

  • Anticipate the needs of the guests and responding politely to their requests

  • Communicate with catering captains as well as other servers and the Wise Sons Event Manager.

  • Have a good understanding of Wise Sons food & beverage and is able to communicate products and service related query to guests when asked.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in serving food- ensuring the area is clean and tidy. Clean up messes and spills during the event, wiping surfaces to keep the area presentable.

  • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

We are looking for individuals who have a basic understanding and are comfortable with food service. A strong ability to self-manage, comfortable driving catering vans, with a flexible weekly schedule consisting of weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. Shift schedule will be determined based on client event needs and company calendar. The Catering Associate will be reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor. Must be an independent self-starter with a good driving record. The candidate in this position will be spending most of their time planning, preparing, packing, executing corporate catering independently, lead server responsibilities at our off-premise events, daily account deliveries and setups, and assistance with orchestrating the deliveries of our daily catering events as well as inventory management. The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze and interpret general business practices with clients and staff.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the EIS team.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

The ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form is required to successfully perform the essential duties described above.

Job Description


Oversees a restaurant's kitchen by managing other members of the food preparation team, deciding what dishes to serve and adjusting orders to meet guests' requests. May assist in prep work, such as chopping vegetables, but more often will be involved in cooking specialty dishes. Must posses and have strong passion for the culinary arts and is a people person.


Chef Job Duties:



  • Cooks guests' orders according to their preferences

  • Must expedite the pass through cook’s window to maintain proper consistency in food quality and service between the hours of 12 – 1 PM and or 5:30 – 7:30 PM daily.

  • Employs food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same

  • Acts with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces

  • Selects choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavor and presentation.

  • Experiments to come up with new specialties that will draw diners into the restaurant

  • Coaches the lead cooks and other members of the kitchen staff, so they perform at their best

  • Determines how much food to order and maintains an appropriate supply at the restaurant

  • Keeps up with trends in cooking and the restaurant business to ensure that guests have a positive experience

  • Works quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings

  • Occasionally takes on extra duties, such as cleaning, when the kitchen is short-staffed or the restaurant is particularly busy

  • Takes direction and works with the restaurant's administrative team

  • Must Conduct daily kitchen briefing with Cooks and servers to discuss the service and business at hand.


Chef Skills and Qualifications:


· Training in Culinary Arts,


· Minimum 5 years Experience in leadership position.


· Works Quickly
