Sr. Sound, Video and AV Engineer that has AutoCAD experience, able to interpret specifications, ability to design systems a plus. Job includes highly technical sound, video, and broadcast systems in major facilities. Company willing to further training for person with skills in sound, video, or broadcast but must have an advanced level of experience and expertise to be considered. The person must be able to travel when necessary, have a strong desire to be on a solid winning team, be a motivated self-starter, efficient, and perform project engineering and/or management based on previous employment history. AutoCAD experience must be of sufficient skill to achieve a required minimum level of skill.


·         Complex sound system engineering


·         AutoCAD experienced


·         Working knowledge of control systems (Crestron/AMX)


·         Ability to specify and setup DSP Systems (BSS/QSC/Biamp/Media Matrix)


·         Understand complex systems (willing to train right person)


·         Organized, get along well with others, neat and professional appearance.


·         Video & Broadcast Engineering experience with projectors, switchers & cameras


·         multi-taking capabilities


·         All general skills required to perform the job


·         Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs

Looking  for two techs; one for South Florida and one for Hollywood, California. Applicant must be reliable, able to pass security checks, have good communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist sales personnel to ensure competitive and accurate bid to customer.

  • Conducts building site surveys to identify any problems prior to bid or installation.

  • Work directly with customer to establish and publish project timeline and completion dates.

  • Responsible for communicating project progress/changes to customer and company installation and technical staff.

  • Complements project documentation with company generated CAD drawings.

  • Responsible for attending/conducting project meetings with installation or construction personnel.

  • Assist with scheduling of installation and technical staff and any associated subcontractors.

  • Coordinates project change orders with sales personnel.

  • Manage multiple projects at differing stages of completion.

  • Responsible for each project from the bidding stage through the final project completion and sign off.

  • Termination of cabling at the head end rack locations, programming of components, troubleshooting and testing of systems.

  • Training of customer or end user personnel on operation and maintenance of system.


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Crestron experience is a bonus.

  • Live Show Experience is a plus!

  • A working knowledge of communications and computer systems is required.



  • Fundamental IT/Data Network knowledge a must.

  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.

This person will be responsible for providing product, application and technical support for our customers and sales personnel (including our network of manufacturer representatives) in North America.
