We are currently accepting applications for a full time Security Field Supervisor to manage and oversee several client accounts and locations across Northern Virginia and DC.

The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:

Training new guards and acclimating them to their assigned client sites
Managing the company's guard patrol tour system and supervising multiple guards off-site through the company's patrol system
Monitor the company's patrol tour system for guards running late, guards who have left their posts, etc.
Conduct random and routine site visits in-person to supervise guards
Conduct routine and random inspections of company and client equipment such as patrol vehicles and other company property
Conduct daily inventory checks of all company equipment both in the office and at client sites
Check in/out equipment issued to guards and keep track of company equipment
Order new equipment as necessary
Maintain the company's fleet of patrol vehicles by ensuring they are free of damage, regularly cleaned, and properly fueled
Advise the company's management team on security or operational matters
Discipline guards when company policies are violated
Fill-in as a substitute guard at the company's various sites in the event a guard is running late or calls out of a shift
Other duties as assigned

This position will be full time. Candidates MUST be available to work on weekends. The hours of this position will often vary, however this position will have a starting schedule as follows:

Saturdays: 11pm to 7am
Sundays: 11pm to 7am
Mondays: 11pm to 7am

    ●      Responsible for engineering, deploying, and administering CentOS Linux systems, both physical and virtual, running Splunk ES and network log collection tools used for monitoring network activity.

    ●      Responsible for ensuring log sources/indexes conform to the common information model and that the functionality of Splunk ES is leveraged properly for alerting and reporting.

    ●      Assist with onboarding of data feeds that are required for the ES instance.

    ●      Writing and using scripting languages to interface with different APIs to pull new data into the ES instance and provide the rich data needed by analysts. Python and PowerShell being the most commonly used.

    ●      Provide continuous process improvement by identifying areas where improvement is needed and address those areas quickly.

    Preferred Qualifications

    ●      Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

    ●      Working knowledge of firewalls and security devices

    ●      Technical writing for documenting as-built systems, and security reports

    ●      Experience performing security assessments and penetration testing

    ●      Securing cloud-based infrastructures and applications

    ●      AWS and/or Azure security experience is a plus

    ●      Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect

    ●      Experience with various security tools, including Wireshark, Nessus, Nmap, Burp, Proxy, or Snort

    As a Customer Service Security Officer, you will be responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site. This will involve, providing safety of client property and personnel, while making periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

    Essential Functions



    • Appear on post in accordance with uniform requirements and fitness for duty.


    • Maintain a command presence, vigilance and awareness at all times.

    • Conduct post inspections, equipment inspections and review current pass along information to be aware of any new or changed assignments.


    • Be able to identify and deny access of prohibited items.


    • Remain knowledgeable of security orders, directives and procedures at all times.


    • Admit or deny access as directed by management or Standard Operating Protocols.


    • Stand post as a deterrent to any person seeking access to the controlled area by orally challenging them of their need to enter.


    • Verify all person’s credentials and badges, ensuring the name, company and expiration date are all present on the badge. Verify the picture matches the person seeking access.


    • Inspect all property, belongings, deliveries and merchandise in accordance with inspection requirements.


    • Take reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visiting personnel, and client assets.


    • Observe and monitor the actions of persons considering entering the secured area.


    • Control the security post area using prescribed actions to meet entry and denial criteria.


    • Use security equipment as prescribed per post and implement all access control measures.


    • Prepare legible daily logs, reports and incident reports as required with adequate detail and description.


    • Report to management all unusual or suspicious activity. Pass this information along during shift changes and briefings.


    • Seek supervisory input as a situation dictates.


    • Make immediate emergency notifications as necessary when confronted with creditable information.


    • Provide directions as necessary.


    • Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.


    • Perform vehicle inspections according to Standard Operating Protocols and post orders.



    • Other related duties, as assigned.


       


      Minimum Qualifications





    • High School Diploma or GED


    • Must be at least 18 years of age.


    • U.S. citizen, U.S. National or lawful permanent resident


    • Must have a valid Texas guard license and one year of security experience. (Must possess unexpired state-issued guard license on the first day of duty.)


    • Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations.


    • Must be able to provide a local address and phone number.


    • Must be willing to submit to and pass a random drug screen.


    • Must demonstrate ability to learn security operation and procedures.


    • Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
