The Animator + Junior Editor is an integral part of the Storytelling Studio at Allison Partners. As the production engine for one the fastest growing integrated communications firms in the world, members of the Storytelling Studio are responsible for developing compelling content for leading brands in the consumer, tech, food, hospitality and non-profit sectors. The Animator + Junior Editor plays an integral role in the entire production process including concepting, design, production, post-production and delivery. This role is specifically focused on creating content that is deployed on social media, employing established best practices and creating new approaches that produce shares and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Expert in: creative concepting, design, animation and motion graphics, title sequence design, lower third design, transitions, interstitials, compositing and sound design

  • Proficient In: live-action editing and color correction

  • Deep understanding of social media, including content best practices, emerging trends, platform formats and posting requirements

  • Skilled and conscious of art creation that aligns with a client's brand identity

  • Illustrate elements from scratch and compile elements from stock assets.

  • Work directly with a team of creative directors, producers, editors, and other artists to create a cohesive piece

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines


  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office a must

  • Candidates should have a minimum 3 years of design and animation experience

  • Experience working across multiple projects at the same time and meeting hard deadlines

  • Must have excellent design, typography and layout skills - attention to detail is critical

  • A love of design, motion graphics and storytelling

  • Strong concept development and creative collaboration skills.

The Press Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a press while adhering to customer specification, quality requirements, company standards, guideline and safety standards. This position is responsible for the overall completion of the job assigned to the press.


  • Inspections of printed material to ensure the correctness in all area of color, registration, stock, and all other customer specifications.

  • Adjusting and maintaining registration, color, perforations, and other customer specific printing specifications.

  • Observes the press operations to detect any machine or equipment malfunctions and moves to correct the issues.

  • Makes adjustments to all press machine parts and equipment: feeders, grippers, guides, feed wheels, cameras, and other machines parts, using proper equipment.

  • Conducts a visual inspection prior to printing of all material stock and ink for defects or noncompliance to job specifications.

  • Carries out the final inspection to ensure the material, ink, plates or screens, cylinder/rollers, tension, and all other necessary customer specifications are correct prior to the start of the running the job.

  • Review and interpret job specifications and work order instructions, delegates or carries out directions as needed.

  • Ensures all job related data (time and material) are entered into the ERP system (DISO).

  • Ensures all unused material goes back to the designated area after each jobs is finished running.

  • Ensure complete and proper line clearance has been conducted. Maintain the daily activity production log and all other required documentation for the press and work orders.Performs the general maintenance of the press or minor repairs.

We are looking for Responsible, Reliable and experienced Machine Operators! Below is the job description



Job Summary

Efficiently set-up and tear-down screen print jobs to match approved samples and maintain a high level of quality throughout the production process at standard production speeds.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

o Lead a production team consisting of a Machine Loader, Un-Loader and Catcher to produce high quality screen prints in an efficient manner.

§ Direct team to carry out the necessary job duties to expedite set-up and tear-down times, as well as maximize production run times and quality.

o Must be able to read and understand the customer matrixes (tech packs) and in-house print pellons. The pellons indicate the print sequence, mesh counts and ink pantone colors, needed to accurately match the approved samples.

o Match the overall quality of the approved samples throughout the entire production process, while maintaining normal production speeds.

o Ensure the initial print (1st off) of every new graphic and each color combination is approved by the Supervisor prior to printing the production order(s).

§ The Machine Operator must bring the supervisor the 1) Original sample, 2) Customer matrix, 3) Pellon and 4) Initial strike off, so they have all the information needed to make an approval.

o Verify the correct purchase order (PO) is being printed and the style number matches that on the ‘Play of the Day’, Customer matrix, and Pellon.

§ This process needs to be followed for every bin and/or stack of blanks

o Verify the correct Color Combination is being printed on the appropriate body color by comparing to sample, matrix, and pellon.

o Maintain overall print quality throughout the entire production run as compared to the approved sample.

o Prior to completing the current job, ensure all screens for the next job are at the machine and arranged in the correct print sequence per the sequence on the pellon.

o Prior to completing the current job, prepare the squeegees and floodbars that are needed for the next job.

o Ensure the ink for the next job is requested from the ink department in plenty of time for them to pull and/or mix before it before it is needed.

o Ensure the correct size platens are used to maximize quality of the final product.

o Ensure the Un-Loader is not smearing or causing the wet ink to transfer to another part of the garment when they are removing garments from the platens.

o Ensure the image is not being distorted or stretched when the garment is being removed from the platen

o Ensure the platens have enough glue to prevent the garment from moving out of registration or smearing during the screen print process.

o Ensure an excessive amount of glue is not being applied to the platens resulting in glue coming off and sticking to the insides of the garments.

o Verify the placement of the embellishment matches that of the sample and indicated on the matrix.

o Verify the correct art size is being printed and matched that of the sample

o Verify the ink colors and opacity match that of the sample

o Verify the image detail and registration of colors is accurate and matches that of the sample

o Ensure the ink colors are in the correct positions

o Ensure the ink is not smearing or ‘orange pealing’ on the graphic

o Ensure all the details in the art are sharp and all present

o Design is printed straight and centered properly on garment

o Minimal Fibrillation – screen print is smooth, and ink has good coverage

o Colors and ink coverage match the other print locations on the same garment

o No lint or ‘trash’ in the print

o No leaks in or around the design

o Watch for excessive pallet or squeegee pressure marks.

§ These marks need to be sprayed with water to help mitigate

o Maintain accurate registration and quality of the screen print throughout the entire production run – need consistency!

o Trouble shoot and fix print/quality problems as they occur and communicate any major issues with supervisor.

o Ensure none of the screens run out of ink throughout the production run

§ Be sure to order more ink from the ink department prior to running out and having to stop the machine.

§ Ensure ink is not wasted or contaminated.

§ Don’t have the ink department make more ink than is required to complete the job.

o Walk to the back of the dryer throughout the production cycle to ensure the print quality and proper curing of the garment.

o General equipment maintenance. Keep the machinery clean and report any broken or non-operational parts to the supervisor.

o Ensure overall production quality

o Work closely with the Production QC to improve overall quality and remedy quality issues quickly

o Follow all company Safety rules

o Work together as a ‘Team’ to maximize productivity and overall quality

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a warehouse manufacturing environment around heavy stationary equipment with moving parts and some material handling equipment. The environment can be warm at times with limited air conditioning and/or air flow. This environment can be dusty due to airborne lint from the garments and adhesives used to manufacture the garments. Some chemicals are used for cleaning that require gloves and safety goggles. There are odors generated from the products we use and produce that may be unpleasant on a daily basis. You will get ink, lint, and adhesive on your skin and clothing.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily required to stand; walk to designated areas to assist operators when instructed; use hands to stack shirts; use eyes to detect flaws with the print or garment being printed; talk or hear. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position unless part-time hours are arranged prior to hiring. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm for 1st shift and 2:00pm – 10:00 pm for 2nd shift. This position regularly requires overtime hours, weekend work and some holidays depending on the workload.

  • There is no travel expected unless employee agrees to additional company-provided training off-site. This is not a standard practice.

Job Summary: The job of Print Manager involves oversight of printing machines that print various designs or images onto materials and products as well as supervision of Screen-printing staff. Duties may include; supervise installation of the framed silk screen onto the printer, and ensuring the products turn out as desired by the client. Manager will also be responsible for administrative duties regarding production & client management; taking orders, providing quotes, design samples, and ordering apparel/supplies as needed.


Essential Functions:


·         Take and understand work orders for screen printing jobs & inquire into any further instructions.

·         Create work orders to provide instructions to production staff and billing personnel.

·         Examine work orders to determine details including quantities to be printed, production timelines, and stock specifications.

·         Manage and seek out new sales opportunities for shirt and apparel printing.


Purchasing and Receiving

·         Coordinate procurement of necessary product and supplies

·         Ensure correct quantities and quality of product received matches our standards

·         Provide receipt information to Finance Department and approve vendor invoices for payment.


Production Management

·         Handle screen preparation processes, such as stretching, screen selection, degreasing, and film emulsion coating.

·         Select, mix, and modify ink to be used in machines, and ensure that ink cartridges are properly installed.

·         Manually print directly on apparel/item via screen print or heat press.

·         Install and reposition printing plates, and adjust pressure rolls, and machines to improve print quality.

·         Perform quality checks throughout the print run & ensure that quantities have been verified.

·         Ensure proper production speeds are achieved in order to maintain profitability

·         Set up and calibrate screen printing machines and equipment & ensure that any issues are identified and handled promptly.

·         Perform both regular and preventative maintenance on screen printing machines to ensure that it works well throughout the shift.

·         Maintain and clean and organized work environment, ensuring that any ink spills are immediately cleaned up.

·         Perform minor repair and troubleshooting work on screen printing machines, to ensure quality.

·         Fold screen printed items safely, neatly, and ensure that they are appropriately stored.

·         Coordinate, schedule, and supervise activities for other employees as needed
