Telephone Answering and Appointment Scheduling

Appropriate duties for the call center include:


  • Answer all incoming calls for the practice

  • Schedule all new patients (faxed referrals and telephone referrals)

  • Schedule any appointment requests from patients made over the phone

  • Collect past due balances during appointment calls

  • Perform real time eligibility during appointment calls

  • Perform batch eligibility two days prior to the day’s visits

  • Ensure all referrals are received prior to the patient’s appointment

  • Answer any non-clinical questions patients may have

Other Shared and Common Duties


  • Ensures all faxes are cleared off the machine and distributed throughout the day

  • Sorts incoming reports and directs to appropriate person

  • Facilitates any physician or manager requests throughout the day

  • Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice

  • Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions

  • Act as an extension of the outside sales force to proactively grow ingredient and product sales.


  • Responsible to support the territory alignment by executing of the Company’s initiatives, to promote BakeMark’s core business - self-manufactured products, exclusives brands, gourmet ingredient program, and promotions.


  • Responsible for establishing new accounts by compiling lists of prospective customers for the use of sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, internet, networking, and other sources.


  • Qualifying new customer leads by performing continual searches for new customer prospecting and penetrating line items in existing accounts.


  • Responsible to cover vacation relief by visiting, calling, and taking orders in the same schedule and manner to which our customers have become accustomed.


  • The base salary will be generated by commissions paid on new accounts and reestablished accounts which have been dormant for longer than 6 months.


  • The IRS role will develop into an Outside Sales Representative, in the field, and will be eligible for commission, bonus, and compensation plans which will be explained in the transition memo.


  • The ISR experience, training, and skills acquired performing their duties will position them to become an outside sales representative in the field.


  • ISR will attend sales training, demonstrations, shows, conventions, and meeting which pertain to BakeMark and supporting sales as directed by manager.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


This company is seeking experienced Sales Representatives to execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify customer’s needs, wants and desires and through this process, develop and communicate unique, custom tailored solutions that generates sales and profit growth. Working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, create a positive customer experience that results in repeat business. Must work closely with customer service, scheduling and manufacturing to develop deep customer relationships and insure commitments are achieved. As a Sales Representative, you will be specializing in the selling of packaging and products through the company’s total solutions approach.
