We have an opening for a full time warehouse worker/occasional delivery driver at Castino Restaurant Equipment & Supply in Rohnert Park, CA. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who works well both alone and with others. Our warehouse team works in a fast paced environment where priorities are constantly shifting. The ability to multi-task and change priorities is essential.


 


Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities:


• Pulling, packing, and shipping orders


• Receiving and stocking merchandise


• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse and store


• Loading and unloading trucks with the use of a forklift


• General cleaning and upkeep of building and bathrooms


• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required


• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.


Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:


• Inspect delivery vehicle before departure to ensure safe operational conditions


• Load and secure products on the truck


• Ensure that material loaded matches shipping documents and those products are in good condition


• Deliver products to the customer


• Unload products at delivery site and secure as appropriate


• Operate the truck in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements, including maintaining the proper level of CDL, driver’s log, and observing all traffic laws and load limits


• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

A Licensed Sheet Metal Journeyman to Install Exhaust Hood/Fans in Commercial Kitchens. This is a Full-time Position offering consistent work and a competitive starting Wage. 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 2+ years' experience with Sheet Metal

  • Licensed Sheet Metal or enrolled in/graduated from an Apprenticeship Program 

  • Valid Driver’s License


SKILLS:

·        Assembly and installation of large deck-style ovens and roll-in refrigeration units’.


·        Ensuring installations are properly secured in place.


·        Field polishing and welding stainless steel.


·        Reading work orders.


·        Walk-in cooler/freezer assembly.


·        Loading tools and equipment and securing items in truck.


·        Safely operate company vehicles, mechanical devices or equipment.


·        Install exterior metal products according to specifications and building codes.


·        Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.

·        Unload trucks and safely moving product to limit damage.

  • Installation of Food Service Equipment. This includes: hoods, walk-ins, refrigerators and freezers, ranges, dishmachines, wood and metal cabinets, boots, furniture and unrelated equipment

  • Drive service and delivery truck to the intended destination to deliver or pick up equipment with the use of a liftgate

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, high hacks, dollies and other related moving equipment

  • Use of various types of power and hand tools, including: drills, saws, grinding wheels, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, tubing benders, files, etc.

  • Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals for cleaning up equipment

  • Keep all company vehicles, equipment, tools, and premises clean and ready for use

  • Ensure doorways, elevators, and hallways are sufficient to allow equipment to safely and effectively be delivered

  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor


Preferred Qualifications, But Not Required (on the job training will be provided):



  • Basic forklift skills

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge

  • Basic mechanical knowledge

  • Proficiency at welding various metals including stainless steel, steel, aluminum

  • Proficiency at soldering of piping and metals

  • A willingness to learn is a must.

  • Ability to work early and late hours Monday-Friday. The hours are determined by the schedule of the jobsite and thus subject to change. Occasional overnight stays out of town.
