Qualifications



  • Minimum of 2 years salaried restaurant management experience

Hinterhof is a Highland Park, Los Angeles vegan German Kitchen and Beer Garden. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate, experienced General Manager who’s views and visions fully align with our vegan food and beer garden concept. If you are interested in leading one of Los Angeles’ newest exciting team – this job is for you!


 


The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, including but not limited to, directing the activities of hourly employees, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, hiring and training new employees, scheduling front house staff, friendly efficient guest service, and all administrative and accounting duties are done according to company policy.


 


The General Manager will work in the Front of the House and with the Kitchen Manager, with a mixture of opening, mid, and closing shifts, but will at times have overall responsibility for the entire building. This position requires successful previous management experience, preferably in a full service casual dining restaurant environment.


 


This position requires you to stand and exert well-paced mobility for long periods and be able to lift 25-50 pounds. Must be at least 21 years of age upon date of hire.


 


Your Qualifications and Requirements:


 


Passion for hospitality, vegan passion a plus.


2 years of experience as a General Manager, new restaurant experience a plus


Effective team builder.


POS experience, Reservations experience


Strong organizational and communication skills to manage staff, interact with management and respond to guest’s needs.
