The production associate has a solid work ethic, a commitment to high quality, and strong organizational skills. Attention to detail is key. The production associate is consistent, works with efficiency, and is an independent worker. You’ll be responsible for the preparation and packaging of spices. This is a part-time position, with shifts in the evening (6pm-midnight). The production associate reports directly to the production supervisor.

  • Fill and label spice jars and bags

The Production Supervisor works with the Operations Manager to oversee our production team in our Albany shop. The production team is responsible for packaging bulk spices into bags, jars, kits and gift boxes for sale at our stores and online. 

The Production Supervisor is a “player-coach” who will spend around 75% of their time working with their team on production. You’ll ensure that preparation and packaging of spices goes smoothly and efficiently by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The Production Supervisor would work during the night shift from 3:30 pm - 12 am (midnight), five days a week.

KEY DUTIES (may include, but are not limited to):


  • Create a culture of trust and hard work where no problem is unsolvable and people feel proud every day of what they’ve accomplished.

  • Delegate assignments to Production Associates on a daily basis, assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.

  • Collaborate and communicate with the Retail team as needed on ongoing production projects.

  • Participate in production tasks along with the team.

  • Inspect progress of Production Associates’ assignments daily.

  • Train new Production Associates and seasonal Production Associates.

  • Ensure products are properly packed and shipped in a timely manner.

  • Ensure Production Associates perform inspections for each production run in accordance with quality control standards and order requirements.

  • Ensure complete documentation of production runs on appropriate paperwork as required.

  • Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate individuals, and complete minor repairs as needed.

  • Ensure materials required for production are available, and order materials as needed.

  • Manage personnel related matters of Production Associates as needed.

  • Enforce safety practices, including food safety, health, COVID-19 precautions, and occupational safety.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


•    Receive BOL from truck driver and determine PO number.
•    Print "Receiving Checklist" from JD Edwards and inventory truck. 
•    Check for wood quality and notify Supervisor of any irregularities.
•    Print placards from scan gun and placard white wood inventory.
•    Remove any mill placards found.
•    Receive new inventory into computer on JD Edwards using "Work with Shipments".
•    File receiving paperwork in correct bin at office for Office Manager to retrieve.
•    Collect any return paperwork, inventory returned items, and notify supervisor of any issues.
•    Ensure returned items are either placed up front with proper return placards, back into the correct inventory bin or placed in salvage yard based on guidance from Supervisor.
•    Receive any specialty deck items using PO order and checklist. A sales representative or specialty deck handler have be present during inventory of truck.
•    Notify Treating Office if a "Hot Load" has been received.
•    Label any white wood needed to fulfill sales orders.
•    Assist Shipping Clerk with any additional duties.
•    Ensure truck drivers are following plant safety by wearing proper PPE {Safety Vest and Boots) and adhering to the traffic rules.
•    Communicate with shipping that dedicated carriers are delivering and need to be reloaded.
•    Sync with before and after shift supervisor to go over any outstanding issues.
•    Receive pick tickets from Sales Office.
•    Use Load Sheet on JD Edwards to prioritize loads leaving the Columbus plant. 1st shift will check the "Ship Window", "Delivery Window", and "City'' to help determine 1st, 2nd, and outside carriers. 2nd and 3rd shift will use the "Load Plan" published in the afternoon to confirm driver assignments.
•    Assign loaders a pick ticket and have them scan the barcode. Confirm loaders are assigned by verifying on "Pick Ticket Assignments".
•    Use scan gun to verify pick ticket load accuracy and correct end tags on packs.
•    Placard each load with specific placards and Home Depot placards (if necessary). Home Depot loads will also require Home Depot inventory paperwork to be stapled on prior to departure.
•    Print delivery paperwork and file according to driver assignment.
•    Assist Receiving Clerk with any additional duties.
•    Ensure truck drivers are following plant safety by wearing proper PPE (Safety Vest and Boots) and adhering to the traffic rules.
•    Sync with before and after shift supervisor to go over any outstanding issues.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


•    Able to prioritize incoming trucks and differentiate between GLI and outside carriers.
•    Able to understand JD Edwards and how to navigate "Work with Shipments" and "Inventory            Status".
•    Able to use the scan gun to print inventory placards.
•    Understanding of the white wood shed and where inventory is located.
•    Knowledge of other plant personal and who to call to move inventory.
•    Able to count number of packs on trailer and calculate pack size quantity.

Serve as Accounts Receivable Clerk for Guidance Center of Lea County, Inc. (GCLC) and Milagro Properties of Lea County, Inc. (MPLC). Provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data

  • Prepare bank deposits

  • Maintain a log of donations, cash receipts and grants

  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve receivables issues

  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

  • Maintain confidentiality for all information regarding clients, staff, physicians, and GCLC obtained as a result of employment at GCLC

  • Participate in development of Safety Plans, SELF Care Plan and participate in Community Meetings

  • Staff problem-solve using the SELF Tool of Sanctuary – Safety, Emotions, Loss and Future

  • All other duties as assigned by the CFO


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager or accountant

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations

  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting and financial records

  • Data entry skills

  • Hands-on experience in accounting software

  • Proficiency in English

  • Strong Microsoft Office use, with emphasis in Excel

  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

• Verifies inventory levels for orders prior to scheduling shipping appointments.

Position Summary:


Responsible for the retention and verification of all receiving records, and for verification of incoming scheduled/unscheduled materials for quality and quantity and checked against bills of lading, packing lists and purchase orders.  Performs a variety of domestic and international receiving tasks under general supervision.


 


Position Responsibilities/Measures of Performance:



  • Maintains accurate files and records of receiving documents for domestic and international transactions. 

  • Efficiently unpacks and sorts incoming materials and verifies that materials received are as ordered in both type and quantity.

  • Enters unanticipated receipts for strip & replate into Movex.

  • Completes receiving reports detailing shortages or damaged material. 

  • Routes incoming shipments and customer returns to proper departments or destination in a timely manner. 

  • Assembles outgoing orders and assures that contents conform to accompanying shipping documents. 

  • Correctly packs and labels and shipping containers. 

  • Uses company vehicle to make pickups and deliveries as required.

  • Adheres to ISO 9000 procedures. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.


 


Essential Requirements of the Job/Position:



  • Requires a high school diploma, min. 1 yr. related experience.  Basic math skills are essential; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.

  • Requires considerable physical exertion in lifting and trucking heavy packages exerting 50-75 lbs. of force occasionally and 25-50 lbs. of  force frequently, and/or 10-20 lbs. of force consistently to move objects.  Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling. 

  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Must be able to read packaging and shipping instructions.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk,


Key duties/responsibilities of Shipping Clerk:


Overall responsibility of this position is to support the production functions in the inventory / shipping / receiving departments of the company.


Essential Functions
This position includes but may not be limited to the following duties :


• Packaged approved and inspected products,and label accordingly.
• Pull and prepare outgoing shipments based on production plan. Ability to process UPS and FED EX and Trucking Carriers.
• Receive and process incoming deliveries
• Support accurate inventories in quantity and bin locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work center and inventory.
• Support and maintain receivables and shipments through shop software system


Qualifications
• Multi-tasking abilities.
• Interact positively with coworkers.
• Must possess reasonable mathematic skills.
• Responsible for complying with all documentation & safety procedures as well as company policies.
• Valid CA driver's license with clean record, Fork Lift license or experience, Ablilty to lift 50lbs
• 1 year experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills:
• Must be able to read and understand English proficiently
