Fellowship details:


  • Fellows may choose a licensed or non-licensed teaching pathway. If licensed, they will earn their license from a university partner over the course of 4-14 months

  • EnCorps will place you in a local partner school for 1 semester where you will spend 2-5 hours per week as a volunteer Guest Teacher

  • Fellows train online/on-demand and at 3 in-person cohort events each year by participating in enhanced skills preparation workshops

  • Fellows receive extensive support and mentoring from the EnCorps staff, their cohort, and EnCorps’ network of schools

  • With the help of EnCorps, you will develop your unique timeline to become a paid teacher, in as little as 9 months, or 3 years depending on your personal goals.

Research Associate – Molecular Biology

As a Scrum Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, your core responsibility includes drafting, planning, and manually execution of various levels of web based application testing - including system, integration, security and functional regression tests. You will automate the functional tests in Cucumber/Gherkin with implementation in Java for happy path test scenarios in an already established automation framework that expands over few thousand scripts.


 


We follow the Agile Scrum/Kanban methodology and every team has the ability to choose between 2-4 weeks sprint. Teams review their sprints with business/Product Owners/Stakeholders at a regular interval. All technical and business teams are easily available and are located in the same building. Every team has its own environment which regularly gets refreshed from production allowing teams to test with most up-to-date masked data. Once teams and Product Owners are ready to release, they commit their changes to the release env which gets pushed to production on a monthly basis.

Our client in the Minneapolis area is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer on a contract to potential hire basis.

QA Engineer will be a member of a self-organizing agile testing team and will be responsible mainly for developing automated test scripts to be executed regularly during intra-sprint testing as well as performance testing as needed. This role will work closely with business, development and project management departments to ensure that the stories included in each sprint are thoroughly vetted and the product produced is fit for use. The QA Engineer will be heavily engaged in reviewing and clarifying the prioritized stories delivered by the Product Owner. Once fully understood and translated into test scenarios, the Quality Assurance Engineer will need to translate those into fully automated test scenarios which can be executed as needed after any code deployments. Any failures encountered will need to be raised as issues within the test management software provided (JIRA, ALM, or other) and managed in collaboration with development to ensure they are resolved in a way that satisfies user stories. This role will also be responsible for identifying the ideal strategy for test automation within the project they are assigned, including but not limited to the selection of appropriate tools.

Position Overview: The QA/QC Technician is ultimately responsible for the quality oversight of project activities. Position Overview: The QA/QC Technician is ultimately responsible for the quality oversight of project activities. Required Experience



  • Experience with wide range of trades including, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, roofing, and general building construction

  • Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred

  • Demonstrate proficiency and effective communications skills in the English language in both oral and written forms

  • Must have knowledge of building and construction crafts since detailed inspections must be made to ensure the required level of workmanship

  • Must be capable of reading contract drawings and specifications

  • Interaction with clients and contractors requires candidate to have a professional presentation along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
