Job Description


Psychologist needed to provide services to Correctional Facilities.


 


Schedule: Full Time: 40 hours per week (4 x 10)


Salary: $110/hour


Location: Vacaville, CA


Qualification Requirements:



  • Active Psychology license issued by the State of California

  • Minimum one year work experience in the field.


Job Details:



  • a. Must be able to periodically serve as clinician-of-the-day by being available for on-call during scheduled work days for patient emergencies


    b. Expected to work effectively and cooperatively with staff from all classifications in order to enhance the quality of professional working relationships


    c. Conducts initial mental health evaluations including criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history to assess inmate’s current needs and make treatment recommendations in the initial evaluation


    d. Conducts clinically sound suicide risk evaluations including clinical review, applying suicide risk assessment protocols, pertinent data/chart reviews, proper documentation and consultations as needed

Job Description


We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist/Therapist to join our team! You will be part of a small, boutique practice in San Ramon, California providing remote therapy (video and phone sessions). Full and part time positions available.


Responsibilities:



  • Diagnose and create appropriate treatment plans based on presenting symptoms and information gained in a thorough clinical assessment.

  • Provide effective therapeutic interventions to clients with the goal of helping them decrease symptoms, improve functioning, and improve overall mood and well-being.

  • Refer clients to other specialists, institutions, or support services as necessary.

  • Keep accurate documentation of client information with completion of this documentation within 24 hours after the service has been completed.

  • Maintain a case load of no less than 10 clients per week.

  • Ensure all necessary documentation (data, HIPAA, consent) has been collected from new clients.


Qualifications:



  • Current State of California license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, or LMFT

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited university

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Preferred skills sets include: certification in treating eating disorders, certification in EMDR or has worked extensively with trauma, couples work
