A clean background and current, valid driver's license with a good driving record are all musts for this outstanding, versatile job with a small property management company. You must enjoy working outdoors, have a good knowledge of sprinkling systems and repair, with some good handyman experience under your belt. Tasks involve driving from property to property in the Park City and Heber City areas; entering and inspecting houses, and caring for a large sprinkling system on a particularly large property in Heber. Some snow removal is required in winter. Activities are varied so you never get stuck feeling mundane, and you're never in the same exact place every day. Hours are somewhat flexible, but in general our work week is Monday - Friday, morning to evening and should be considered highly physically active and dynamic.

Seeking Independent Contractor to perform periodic walk-through inspections on managed properties across the Las Vegas/Henderson/North Las Vegas areas.  Independent Contractor must be detail-oriented, well-spoken, have knowledge on using a smart phone/tablet and does need to have general knowledge of how home systems work.  Independent Contractor will be trained and needs no special certifications.  


Independent Contractor will be paid for completing pre-scheduled inspections, as needed, and will also be reimbursed for mileage, as directed by the IRS, which is .58/mile for 2019.  Independent Contractor will be paid weekly, if he/she has completed inspections the previous week, and will receive a 1099 form at tax time.  Independent Contractor must have a reliable vehicle and be available for pre-scheduled inspections during the days/hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm, as needed.  Hours will vary from week to week and will not be consistent, but Independent Contractor will have advanced notice of scheduled inspections.

We are looking for a Full Time Home Inspector to join our team!


Home Inspector Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Conduct Inspections - Home inspectors conduct inspections on residential properties to check for compliance and assess if there are hazards or structural defects. This entails examining both the interior and exterior of the property, including infrastructure, electrical and plumbing systems, and water quality.


  • Arrange Repairs - In response to issues discovered during inspections, home inspectors communicate with realtors, homeowners, or potential buyers to coordinate repairs and improvements, which may include carpentry, plumbing fixes, and system re-installation.


  • Create Reports - It’s the job of home inspectors to create detailed reports about their inspection findings and present these to homeowners. Aside from descriptions of defects and recommendations for repair and maintenance, these also contain extensive photos, diagrams of property structures, and notes from site observation.


  • Assist Clients - Home inspectors work closely with clients throughout every step of the process, approaching inspections based on client requirements and regularly updating them about progress and issues encountered.   • Valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation
