We are looking for a relationship with a journeyman electrician with experience. Licensed or working on License is OK. Working with our small Team means that honesty, integrity, good communication skills, attention to detail and health and safety consciousness are a must. Must be able to take instruction and learn on the job. 

 

Applicant MUST be knowledgeable in Electrical Theory, Codes and Practice relating to residential and light commercial work. Must be proficient in the use of romex, MC cable, flexible metal conduit EMT and Rigid conduit (up to 2”). Also including ability to “cut-in” receptacles, lighting outlets and switches, plan and do Service changes, sub panel installation, kitchen and bath remodels, lighting and power outlets, A/C and EV, etc. as well as Troubleshooting and repair. We often deal with old knob and tube wiring and Low voltage wiring including phone, CATV and Ethernet. Will need tools, vehicle and phone. 

Hourly wages for P/T, F/T based on experience (typically $35-$50).

SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 6 PM. Occasional shift change or O/T required at times.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Troubleshoot plumbing equipment including toilets, shower and bath valves, disposals, instant hot water dispensers, water heaters, tankless water heaters, drain, water supply and gas piping

  • Present findings and options to customers, providing advise as needed/requested

  • Complete approved repairs, improvements, or installations within industry standard hours per repair pricing guide

  • Clean equipment/work area

  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work

  • Complete all paperwork required by management, collect for work performed

  • Maintain truck inventory, keep assigned service vehicle organized and clean

  • Track vehicle maintenance and alert management when maintenance is necessary

  • Contact the office following the completion of each call, providing requested information regarding the work completed, and receiving dispatch instructions for the next call

  • Provide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements

  • Provide customers with information on new equipment when repairs exceed a pre-determined cost and/or existing equipment exceeds 10 years of age

  • Perform equipment installations if needed

  • Perform maintenance work if needed

  • Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements

  • Other duties as needed 

Job Requirements


  • Journeyman license or equivalent

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

  • Valid drivers license

  • Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)

  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide repairs at the service technician level

  • Two or more years of experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or service technician

  • Standard plumbing technician tools

AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT (A&P) MECHANIC

The selected candidate will have meet the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) standards and comply with FAA regulations to be authorized to work on airplanes. The A&P Mechanic will diagnose, adjust, repair or aircraft engines and assemblies. Additionally, the A&P Mechanic will service and repairs airplanes to ensure they're operating correctly and safely.

· Inspect aircraft for any component defects, break-outs, or fluid leakages


· Assemble and disassemble various components of aircraft during repairs and maintenance


· Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft components


· Test aircraft operations to identify malfunctions


· Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft using hand tools and gauges


· Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards


· Keep work area clean and safe


· Inform component repairs to manager and chief mechanic


· Resolve complex technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs


· Operate support equipment that is used in removal and installations of major aircraft components


· Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools


· Check for corrosion, distortion, and invisible cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail, using x-ray and magnetic inspection equipment


· Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations

Work environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Works under general supervision providing technical support for the mechanical installation, troubleshooting and inspection on unmanned aerial vehicles.


  • Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and other disciplines of UAV operators, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and civilian customers when required.


  • Removes and replaces airframe components as needed including aileron servos, flap servos, brake servos, landing gear servos, throttle servos and waste gate servos requiring long periods of standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.


  • May perform all launch and recovery including inspections, starting engine, operational check, installing payloads (cameras, KU, Datalink, SAR, EO/IR), fueling and de-fueling.


  • Incorporates any approved configuration changes and other modifications into all aircraft as needed per company approved and/or government technical order requirements.


  • Interfaces with customers, military and civilians, and understands the discipline required to maintain aircraft and associated equipment as a contractor.


  • Provides flight line and ground support to include towing, refueling, defueling, launch and recovery of aircraft.


  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on unmanned aerial vehicles.


  • Inspects airframe, powerplant, and propeller components at regular intervals as per company approved procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements.


  • Certifies aircraft records that aircraft are in a condition safe for flight.


  • Repairs fuel and oil leaks or engine problems as needed and removes and replaces airframe components as needed.


  • Assists in the testing, maintenance and operation of ground equipment.


  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

  • May require minimal travel and/or CONUS or OCONUS deployment.


  • Must possess: (1) full knowledge and understanding of the detailed aspects of the job; (2) knowledge of relevant computer applications and operations; (3) basic leadership, organization and planning skills; and (4) strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and both military and civilian customers.


  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.


  • Candidates must submit to and receive a favorably adjudicated background investigation by the DHS.


  • The ability to pass a Deployment Medical Exam.


  • HAZMAT, AES, and IATA experience is desirable.


  • Experience handling COMSEC material.


  • Must be able to work both independently and on a team and be able to work extended hours as required.

 Perform required maintenance on company aircraft.



  • Ensure all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer's manuals and FAA accepted or approved data

  • Adheres to all applicable FARs and Company policies and procedures outlined in the General Procedures Manual (GPM) and the Company's, FAA Approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program

  • Interpret aircraft technical manuals, and electrical drawings

  • Responsible for movement of aircraft in the hangar and on-ramp, including operation of tow-tractor

  • Maintain work area in a neat, clean and safe condition at all times

  • Perform only those tasks for which proper training and qualification has been obtained

  • Document On-the-job training (OJT) on from (T#004) for training received on tasks which Mechanic/Repairmen has not previously performed

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Job Requirements:



  • Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83

  • Familiar with parameters and standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations, Parts 53, 65 and 91

  • Familiar with basic inventory management functions

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously with others

  • Familiar with computer data entry, and Microsoft Windows-based programs

  • Capable of lifting 75 lbs

  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include day and night shifts

  • Willing to travel as needed
