Responsibilities


  • Coordinate with the editor and the team members to identify photography needs

  • Assign projects to photographers and keep track of the deadlines

  • Review photos, edit and make necessary changes

  • Decide which images to publish

  • Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication

  • Manipulate photos to achieve highest quality using the appropriate tools

  • Ensure all photo equipment is used properly and order supplies as needed

  • Liaise with editors, photographers and advertising reps and advise on future projects

  • Stay up to date with new image editing technologies

Requirements


  • Proven work experience as a photo editor

  • Solid experience with digital technology and photo editing software packages (e.g. Photoshop, Pixlr and Affinity Photo)

  • Strong photo editing skills and excellent portfolio

  • Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photographic techniques, studio management and color composition

  • Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills

  • Time-management and leadership skills

  • Degree in photography, visual arts, digital media or related field

Field Asset Specialists will be required to work in a team setting while traveling the U.S., photographing and documenting industrial assets, private businesses, landmarks, outdoor coverage, live events, and a variety of other locations. Travel is extensive.

Duties



Along with capturing imagery, Field Asset Specialists will be responsible for:



  • Using digital cameras along with a variety of equipment such as tripods, filters, and flash attachments for capturing Asset information.


  • Logging data for corresponding imagery


  • Prepping scenes with high attention to detail


  • Following strict guidelines for Processing Imagery onto computers for editing, storage, and transfer to removable storage.


  • Follow strict guidelines for shipping processed data back to headquarters


  • Perform maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment working properly.

  • Corresponding daily with supervisor to include

Pay


Although much is required of a Field Asset Specialist, much is also given. We are looking for a full-time dealership porter/photographer to go between dealerships in Oakland and surrounding areas. Dealerships hire Pro-MotionPix to photograph and video their cars for sale. The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter who can overcome daily obstacles at the dealerships with ease.


Job duties include:



  • Following the schedule, go straight from home to the first dealership of the day (usually 3-4 dealerships are scheduled per day)

  • Using the app on the company provided phone, you will walk all areas of the lot to find the cars on your list that are available for photos/videos, and use the app to keep organized.

  • Move the cars to a staging area (must be able to drive stick).

  • Shoot a specific series of photos and sometimes video, uploading to the app.

  • Put the car back.

  • Talk to the manager at the dealership to let them know what was shot, what could not be shot for various reasons, etc.


Base pay is $16 per hour, plus per car pay, plus bonus. Most photographers make at least $18 per hour, up to $25 per hour for our more seasoned and faster workers.


Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement between stops, medical benefits, dental benefits, and 401K.


All equipment for the job is provided, including laptop, camera, uniform shirts, and cell phone.

This is a traveling position that could have you traveling throughout the state of Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Northern Alabama, and occasionally into Virginia and North Carolina. Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide motion photography in a studio and on location using various camera processes and techniques, and use setting and background to produce esthetics, as well as accurate and informative video productions at the leadership level.

  • Coordinate with and respond to customer requests for photographic support and employ available resources and subordinate photographers to complete scheduled assignments.

  • Edit new or stock footage into finished programs including the use of music, narrations, and graphics.

  • Operate several different professional video camcorder models and formats in ENG, EFP, and studio configuration setups.

  • Must have the ability to travel, work alone or as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)



  • Associates degree in the related field of video production.

  • Four years’ experience in a production house or news/video environment.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in video production, communications, or related field.

  • Five to six years’ experience in all phases of video production.

  • Existing Secret Clearance.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.

  • Experience with basic lighting techniques.

  • Experience with MPEG and DVD creation.

  • Experience in a customer interface and interpreting customer requirements.

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or other Nonlinear Editing (NLE) system.

  • Advanced lighting skills. (Desired Skill).

  • Scriptwriting (Desired Skill).

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or other NLE. (Desired Skill).

  • Full familiarity with digital video files. (Desired Skill).
