We would like to hire a Book-keeper/Clerical-Associate to take care of all our company day to day financial tasks. You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks. To do well in this role you should have previous experience as a Book-keeper/Clerical-Associate and have used Zero or Quickbooks.

 

Book-keeper/Clerical-Associate Responsibilities:

*Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

*Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.

*Monitor financial transactions and reports.

*Process accounts receivable and payable.

*Process checks.

*Understand ledgers.

*Work with an accountant when necessary.

*Handle monthly payroll using accounting software.

 

Book-keeper/Clerical-Associate Requirements:

*Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.

*High school diploma.

*Knowledge of bookkeeping software.

*At least one year bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment.

*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

*Attention to detail and accuracy of work.

*Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, or MYOB.

*Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.

This includes explanation of procedures, hazards and potential adverse events; explanation of immunization schedules, dose and antibody response; providing clear opportunity for donor to refuse participation; obtaining signature and date certifying informed consent.
7 Handles medical emergencies at the Center by providing routine care as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); elevates situations to Center Physician or local medical service providers as required. Periodically checks emergency kits to assure supplies are present and in-date.
8 Reviews test results and determines continued donor suitability. Follows SOPs regarding acceptable ranges of four-month required test (PE/STS) reports. Maintains knowledge of and apply all rules regarding four-month approvals and grace periods.
9 Assess signs and symptoms a donor may exhibit that may result in the inability to continue donating.
10 Manages employee hepatitis B and influenza immunization program, including administration of immunizations.

12 Ensures the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in the SOPs.

  • Provide the full range of resource services to foster and/or adoptive families within state mandates, COA standards, agency policies, and program plans.

  • Plan direct, and coordinate activities of assigned CCS Programs. May include one or more program sites generally involving multiple service lines. 

  • Conduct in-depth mutual assessments of prospective foster/adoptive families to determine suitability for foster home licensing in accordance with DCFS Rule 402, the Child Care Act, agency policies and procedures and other applicable rules and procedures.

  • Conduct ongoing mutual assessment with licensed families to ensure quality care for children and for purposes of monitoring, license renewal and/or enforcement. 

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of the recruitment plan for new foster homes.

  • Efforts should be made to secure foster families that can be matched to the population served by the program. 

  • Provide direct supervision, training, support, review and evaluations for child welfare resource specialists, child welfare assistants and other assigned staff.

  • Provide foster parent and staff development training to fulfill agency, DCFS, and COA requirements. 

  • Collaborates with other management staff in programs and network on programmatic, fiscal, organizational and community issues.

  • Compiles reports or data as required by management or government agencies. 

  • Ensures compliance with contractual obligations and completes required documentation in a timely manner.

Identified candidates will possess the following qualifications:



  • Master's degree in social work or a related human services field with supervisory experience and experience with Child Welfare preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.

  • Valid Illinois driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance required.

  • Access to transportation for visits, meetings and to transport clients as assigned.

  • State licensing/certifications required by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS.

Administers therapy statements according to a treatment plan approved by the attending physician. Directs treatments given by aides and assistants. Complies with company protocol for patient rounding.
