EVENT FACILITATOR (PART-TIME) - SF

BreakoutIQ, located in San Francisco, is looking for event facilitators to lead our corporate team building events.

Our activities currently include puzzle-based escape room games, scavenger hunts, trivia nights, and team workshops focused on communication and problem solving.

WHAT A BREAKOUTIQ EVENT FACILITATOR DOES:


  • Travel to event sites and set up each event

  • Host and facilitate lively team-building activities - almost always with one or more co-hosts

  • Run post-event debriefs and workshops focused on team dynamics and communication

  • Assist with event preparation - custom content development and prop management

JOB DETAILS:


  • Time Frame: Immediate Start

  • Commitment: 15-40 hours/week

  • Part Time Schedule: Likely 1 - 6 pm, 3-5 days per week (M-F, very rarely weekends)

  • Full Time Schedule: Approximately 9:30 - 6 pm, with occasional evenings 

  • Opportunity for some work to be done on a more flexible schedule, with option for occasional remote work

  • Compensation: $16 - $22 / Hr (based on experience) with opportunity for increases

  • NOTE: Exact schedule depends on the fit between your desired level of involvement and business needs. Fluctuations may arise due to events that either start in the morning or evening outside of those hours that require additional staffing.

Primary Duties of the AAA Retail Sales Associate I:

Essential Functions – Level I:

  • Learn and use established sales and service techniques to improve member/client retention, to meet or exceed quality standard scores, and to meet established productivity goals.

  • Assist members and clients in planning, domestic travel such as car rentals, hotel reservations and domestic vacation packages, by recommending and selling various travel products with a concentration on Preferred Partner products.   • Counsel and sell Financial Services products.


  • Properly answers and accurately processes incoming overflow telephone calls from the Roadside Assistance Call Center (RACC). Takes action, as necessary, to respond to a member's emotional state (e.g., calming down someone who is angry, providing reassurance to someone who is fearful), in addition to performing the technical aspects of processing the service request.



  • Utilizes current system, a Windows based PC application, enters accurate information and comments regarding a member's Roadside Assistance needs -including any special service considerations. Handles credit card and member billing transaction as appropriate.



  • Assists members, utilizing AAA maps and/or a PC based map program, to determine their breakdown location or tow destination.



  • Delivers extraordinary customer service to AAA members by accurately answering questions and interpreting club policy. Provides members with all necessary instructions to ensure a complete understanding of the services that will be rendered. Gives an accurate Estimated Time of Arrival.



  • Listens for, and probes for more information when necessary, and makes sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service (e.g., safety concern, extreme hardship to member).

Assistant Store Manager Job Description

Supports the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager in attaining Levi's® Store Iconic status by assisting in the development of the store team and contributing to the successful implementation of strategies and operational excellence that ensure brand equity, customer satisfaction and financial growth. Assumes responsibility for store in the absence of Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for operational results in store procedures, payroll management, cash handling and inventory control

  • Is accountable and holds others accountable for ensuring all operational standards are achieved

  • Assists in the hiring, training and retention of a store staff that model Levis Strauss & Co (LS&Co) selling practices, deliver authentic customer service and meet sales goals

  • Executes flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed

  • Lead merchandising team to reliably accomplish productivity goals and completion of RFID-enabled inventory management processes and visual merchandising standards by operating the company tools and resources

  • Hold merchandising team accountable to RFID-enabled inventory management and visual merchandising processes, effectively leading the team through change, ensuring adherence to best practices, and actively coaching the team for maximum productivity.

  • Accountable to store manager for driving process adoption, proficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Recruits and conducts screening interviews for stylist position and makes recommendations for new hires

  • Participates in training process for new hires on LS&Co culture, product knowledge, selling practices and other associate responsibilities

  • Coaches and develops staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization.

  • Contributes to a positive work environment that encourages retention and talent

Basic Qualifications:


  • 3 years progressively responsible retail leadership experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Solid experience and demonstrated skills in supervising, coaching and training sales associates

  • Strong retail apparel experience

  • Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes

  • Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly

Must be able to work with customers and co-workers and be able to work all shifts, weekends, and nights. Must be able to operate an electronic cash register and other equipment. On the job training for this position is 24 hour for Convenience Stores, 40 hours for Truck Stops.



     



    LANGUAGE SKILLS:



    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Require ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.



     



    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:



    Require ability to perform basic math computations at the 8th grade level.

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

    • Ability to operate a ten key calculator with accuracy and speed.

    • Ability to operate the following equipment safely and accurately; credit card machine (electric and manual), Trendar machines, safe, telephone, Lottery machine, public address system, gas consoles, hand cart, check verification machine, and cleaning tools.

    • Ability to adhere to all safety rules in on site Safety Manual.

    • Ability to wear proper uniform and maintain personal hygiene to meet all health standards.

    • Ability to maintain proper attitude, professionalism, and teamwork in areas of customer service and restaurant operations.

    • Ability to assist second cashier or manager as needed.


     



    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Waiting on customers, operating computerized cash register, giver correct change, scan credit cards and checks. Bag merchandise.

    • Stock shelves and cooler.

    • Clean and maintain fountain area.

    • Remembering regular customer’s names and faces. Suggest selling and assisting customers to locate merchandise.

    • Accurate and effective completion of shift paper work.

    • Clean rest rooms, deli equipment, dusting shelves and merchandise, windows, doors, empty trash cans, sweeping and mopping.

    • Use of fire extinguisher and other safety equipment.

    • Detection of shoplifters.

    • Vendor check in procedures.

    • Use of protocol system and “drive off” controls.

    • Listening and handling customer complaints.

    • Use of price book, safety manual, and store rest room logs.

    • Advises store manager of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.

    • Answer and screen telephone calls properly.

    • Policing the store.

    • Sweep lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps, fills water/cleaning solution buckets on islands.
