Anytime Fitness in Novato is looking for our next Club Manager, also known as an H2i. (Hired to inspire!)

About the Job

Share our passion. Help fuel our amazing growth!

Anytime Fitness is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. Industry experience is not required, but first-rate people skills and a self-motivated work ethic are! Work in a fun, upbeat atmosphere where every day is different.

Club Manager / H2i (hired 2 inspire):

A perfect applicant will be available for flexible hours, be a team leader, have a passion for health and fitness, and most importantly, be a great representative of our brand! To be considered for this position, you must be a high-energy self-starter, have an extroverted personality, be a good motivator/coach, and enjoy sales, marketing, and building great culture in the club.

Important: If you are uncomfortable doing sales or calling complete strangers on the phone and asking them to stop in to see our club, this is not the position or industry for you.

Requirements:

A good candidate will enjoy working in a health club environment, have a friendly, outgoing personality, and genuinely care about helping others.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Membership Sales --

We use a proven system that helps our guests overcome their own roadblocks to starting a fitness program. When used correctly, this system doesn't feel like sales at all. Remember, you are hired to inspire.

Club Promotional Marketing --

We love the creative "guerilla" type marketing! We do use traditional marketing strategies (television, radio, newspaper, direct mail, etc.), but we really prefer the creative stuff. A good understanding of how to use social media is a MUST. (You must be comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, etc)

Community Involvement --

We love being a part of the local community--even if it means working on a Saturday. There are countless opportunities to get outside the club and promote our business. We actively participate in community-sponsored events.

Networking / Employee Wellness --

We work with a network of local and national employers and insurance companies that try to encourage their employees to lead healthier lifestyles. Making contacts is the first step--then we try to find a solution that helps everyone.

Team Building --

ADVANCED WELLNESS-PERSONALIZED TRAINING & SPORTS PERFORMANCE GYM located in San Francisco (Laurel/Presidio Heights) is looking for an outgoing and energetic coach/personal trainer to join our team.

Are you a passionate coach, but hate sales, the instability of varied hours and pay, and always wondering about your next paycheck? Do you care about becoming a BETTER coach while working with a tight-knit community of great teammates and clients? If this resonates with you, keep reading.

We've worked hard to build a different kind of training & sports performance gym—one that fosters community, personal growth, a holistic view of health, performance and being BETTER. We actually want our clients to show up! We are dedicated to and supportive of our clients.

Our core values are:

  • WE before me

  • Proactive

  • Passionate

  • Evolving

  • Unparalleled dedication

Every day, we help people be BETTER.

Any individual can make someone tired and sweaty. However, it takes more to be a coach, moreover a great one—and we're willing to help you become one. We want our coaches to be proficient and excel in two areas: customer service/user experience and understanding/teaching movement.

You must be an excellent communicator, appreciate being part of a team, along with being both reliable and punctual. A true passion for fitness (meaning you actually workout) and the ability to inspire others are obviously "must haves". If you have a positive attitude, are passionate, patient, humble and have a strong desire to learn and evolve, this is your opportunity to grow and develop with a unique company.

Although a current personal training certification would be beneficial, it's not a must to be hired. We foster a wonderful learning environment and can teach you to be a great coach in our system. You will gain an understanding of the basic tenants of training (breathing, mobility, stability, strength, conditioning, and performance training). You'll also learn how to teach movement and design quality programs. After the initial learning period, you will have the confidence to lead small and large groups and multiple programs simultaneously.

You must be able to work early morning and evening shifts, as well as Saturday mornings, and attend one midday Thursday meeting per week.

If this describes you, then apply today!

With over 20 years of training experience, Robbi and Leo Shveyd set out to create an innovative concept in exercise that didn’t exist in San Francisco. The model is based on the idea that there is power and better results in numbers (of participants, that is!). They were frustrated with the gym industry and, simply put, fed up with gyms that were more interested in sales numbers than actual member happiness and results. Now, they are San Francisco’s fastest rising personalized training and sports performance gym. They have figured out a way to provide top-notch training and customization for a wide-array of clients, ranging from youth to professional athletes. Clients train cohesively in a clean, fun and safe setting, where the top priorities are member happiness and getting BETTER! Robbi, Leo and their team of coaches spend their days changing people’s lives. With you, we can have an even greater impact. Be a part of the Advanced Wellness TEAM!
