The Cook is responsible for preparing all the items in the kitchen for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. These prepared items include (but are not limited to) cold food items, hot food items, desserts and other menu items based on the event and/or client needs. The Line Cook will coordinate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Staff in ensuring all food items are prepared properly and in a timely manner. This position must adhere to all health codes and standards, maintain food quality. Last but not least, the Cook must maintain a clean and organized workspace.Position(s) Available:

Six months minimum experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. Experiences on a line, grill, or in an expo position are a plus. Any additional culinary training, such as a culinary certificate, is also a plus.


Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, stretch, squat, reach, and lift up to 35lbs. from the floor to waist level. Must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.


  • Knowledge of food sanitation policies and procedures.

The Line Cook/Prep Cook will report to the Party Staff and/or Client Kitchen contact, which may be a Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Kitchen Manager. All tasks must be coordinated with a supervisor and executed according to the specified timeline.


  • Prepare items for meals and special events.
  • Prep for the current day/ event and/or the next day/event if necessary/
  • Complete all assigned items on the production list and maintain good communication with the Chef.
  • Clean workstation and equipment used on a regular basis during and after the shift according to the sanitation schedule.
  • Comply with all internal policies and procedures.

The Part-Time Tasting Room Associate is responsible for hospitality and customer service for all tour and storefront operations. Performs and schedules standard tours as well as private and specialty tours and tastings. Provides support for distillery hosted and private events at the visitors’ center. Tour and Storefront Operations:

1. Cleaning floors in dog areas - Vacuum, Swiffer, Bona

4. Cleaning up any and all dog messes. Dogs get sick and cleaning up is a must.
5. Laundry -- cleaning dog beds and dog rags.
6. Meet with clients when they drop off and pick up dogs.
7. Maintain cleanliness of dog walker's areas -- front desk, bathroom.
8. Help organize and clean office.
9. Picking up and dropping off dogs at their homes using company van.
10. Upload photos to social media daily: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
11. Running errands in company van--taking dogs to vet & grooming appointments, delivering keys.
12. Dog feeding and properly sanitizing dishes and bowls. Filling Water bowls regularly.
13. Properly clean and sanitize dog areas.
14. Clean and sanitize all company vans. Top to bottom; Inside and out.
15. Help organize keys and dog equipment.
16. Maintaining safe and healthy play environment. Interact and play with the dogs.
17. Checking dog's health and well-being.
18. Assist in organizing dog's walk schedules and preparing them for their walks.
19. Assist the business owner as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or general education  degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training;  or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous  experience working with dogs is highly desirable, but not required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:  Must have a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
