ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Valid Class E Driver's License

  • Clean Background (criminal, driving & etc.)

Security Guard - JFK Part time Overnights

Summit Security is currently looking for qualified Security Officers. Immediate Openings for over 40 Positions!! Shifts Include: Overnight schedules.  Positions are located in JFK Airport in Queens, New York.

Available schedules:  5 days a week - 20 hours a week 
8pm to 3am
9pm to 3am
8:30pm to 12:30am
10:00pm to 2am

Essential Functions:

  • Operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

  • Access control

  • Provide excellent Customer service

This is a position for night-shift. The hours for this position will vary between 8pm and 8am.


The Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer will be in charge providing engineering support for voice and data network connectivity issues, as well as working as a liaison for our clients and escalation teams. They are responsible for providing first level of support and triage to client environments ranging from wired and wireless system connection and hardware to servers and services.

  • Monitor service and device up time.

  • Configure and install networking equipment as needed

  • Participate in upgrade/patching projects and maintenance

Operations Engineers will possess:

Job Description


The Command Center Security Specialist is responsible for the security and safety of our employees. This position will act as a liaison between the stores and corporate while providing a safe and secure environment as well as ensuring profitability. The center helps facilitate critical communications and tracking for a multitude of purposes (crisis management; overnight facility operations; traveler safety; facility threats; global security incidents; etc). The Command Center Security Specialist will provide support to business partners, and manage the escalation and communication of security issues to both field personnel and HQ leadership. This position will be stationed in Jersey City, NJ.


 


Key Duties



  • Act as the communication lead and point of contact between field response personnel, Senior Regional Corporate Security Manager and coordinate the day to day standard operational procedures for the Command Center.

  • Enter incident and/or crisis data into case management systems, ensuring accuracy and thorough reporting

  • Monitor and document all overnight operation within store locations

  • Communicate with alarm companies and assist in contacting emergency services with information and directions to responding law enforcement.

  • Conduct Security internal audits in accordance with Departmental requirements.

  • Manage the access control system, alarm monitoring, CCTV system, lighting system, video recording systems, social media monitoring, emergency communication system, and all other technologies deployed in the Command Center.

  • Monitors entrances and exits; prevents unapproved or unlawful entry; controls entrances, the movement of employees

  • Execute call trees for senior business leaders and Corporate Security personnel; directory of facility support units; directory of support organizations which would be utilized during a crisis.

  • Participate in response plans and training exercises to establish baseline organizational response to events.

  • Ensure all forms of communications, such as emails, phone conversations, and client interactions are all conducted in a confidential, courteous and professional manner

  • Maintain the security of confidential information and data.

  • 2+ years directly-related, multi-unit Loss Prevention (LP) and/or Retail work experience

May have to administer CPR on guest or staff member in accordance to guidelines and communicate specified information to EMS/medical personnel as required. Complete documented reports in accordance to Company and hotel polices and procedures.


· Assist in training/educating employees on current safety and security issues to ensure compliance with all Company loss control policies and current security, and safety regulations. Inform management of hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to the security of guests, employees or hotel assets. Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to security equipment or hotel property as needed and ensure that equipment is prepared and operational for the following day’s work.


· Record necessary and pertinent incident reports or information to police and fire agencies involving investigations and to Corporate Legal department, Corporate Claims Management department, insurance agencies and outside attorneys to assist in case evaluation, settlement or defense involving lawsuits against the Company.


· Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest related incidents, questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.


· Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include all hotel staff, Corporate Hotel Management Group and Corporate Risk Management and Legal department.


· Perform other duties as assigned; such as may handle deliveries received during non-business hours.


 


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

  • Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)

    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

  • Ensures the facility is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property

  • Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons

  • Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises

  • Participates in industry specific security/safety training programs to offer our clients the best trained officers at their sites

  • Works in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and awareness of personal safety and safety of others

  • Maintains awareness and familiarity with the site-specific operations performance manual and post orders

Job Description


Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Armed Security Officer. Our Armed Security Officers   allow us to contribute to our company’s core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities. 


The armed security officer is a deterrent to criminal activity by remaining visible and presenting a neat and professional appearance in properly worn uniform and associated equipment.


 


 


Overnight Armed Security


8:30pm to 6am


 


Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

  • Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying. 

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
