We serve Clients as necessary, so there may be some travel. We always have need for exceptional field service personnel of all levels.  

Currently, we are looking for customer focused and experienced Field Service Techs in the Kansas City areas to maintain various optical and electronic systems. Candidates should have some working knowledge in Networking, Data equipment, PC’s, cabling, fiber optics or security devices. All of our Jobs are full time and with benefits and a company vehicle.  

Responsibilities include:

 · Maintain a safe and clean work environment

 · Installation, repair, configuration and testing of network & fiber equipment

 · High level customer service and excellent communications skills

 · Technical and interpersonal skills working with Network Operations Centers

 · Conduct site surveys of cabling, power and equipment

 · Perform termination and testing of cabling: Cat-5 Cat-6, Coax 

 · Perform testing of telecom transmission systems: Optical Power, OTDR, RFC

 · Restore services by troubleshooting and replacing failed components.

 · Operate vehicles, equipment and tools in the safest possible manner.

 · Computers skills including configuring network gear and using Microsoft Office.

 · Maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity

 · Being on-call on a rotating schedule with other team-mates

 · Must have a basic laptop, smart phone, hotspot and telecom hand tools

 · Operate with Safely and Integrity while delivering excellence to Clients.  

You will present a well-groomed, professional appearance, instill confidence while addressing the scope of work. You must have the ability to follow instructions listed on work orders, complete all required paperwork including job notes, pictures, list all materials used and communicate well with the customer on all details of the work performed.

You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks. To do well in this role you should have previous experience as a Book-keeper/Clerical-Associate and have used Zero or Quickbooks.

Book-keeper/Clerical-Associate Responsibilities:

*Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

*Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.

*Monitor financial transactions and reports.

*Process accounts receivable and payable.

*Process checks.

*Understand ledgers.

Own and manage the expansion of financial, attach and partnership products and features for H&R Block.   • Strategic Planning & Direction Identify the strategic initiatives to scale the business through enhancements to current products and programs and recommended new growth initiatives. Partnering with product management and executive leadership, develop the vision, growth strategy and long-range plans for the business and future partnerships. Meet with executive management, business representatives, external partners, and various focus groups to receive feedback on current systems, processes and procedures and to brainstorm enhancements for future product, program and development initiatives. Ensure that goals and objectives for the organization align with strategic priorities and negotiate with internal teams to secure support for prioritized projects. Meet with the Tax Institute for periodic updates on IRS strategy, and federal and state Tax Administration updates to identify product opportunities or innovate new product ideas.


  • Business Development and Partnerships Evaluate external partner solutions/products that could be promoted to HRB clients and assess each solution for brand, client, channel and strategic fit. Direct product team in the creation of business requirements for new product and enhancements to existing products by working closely with business and project teams on content and functional specifications as well as feature and function prioritization. Develop leads, manage the RFI/RFP process, negotiate contracts, and drive program execution as needed with support from internal business partners. Establish, build and own relationship with external partners. Oversee the development and launch of products. Lead team in ownership of capital budget, timeline, and functionality prioritization to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Manage the implementation of new third-party products or services delivered to H&R Block clients.


  • Resource Management, provide leadership and ongoing status updates and collaborate across departments on projects. Evaluate staffing and resource needs, making recommendations based on workload, timeline, and priorities. Determine best staffing and resource allocation solutions (i.e., contractor, temporary, or regular HRB associate).Monitor productivity and provide staff members with direction. Ensure staff is focused on development opportunities and progress toward the accomplishment of goals.


  • Financial/Budget Management Manage the budget and resource allocation for emerging products and development projects.Accountable for developing and managing an annual department operating plan and associated budgets which are moderate to significant in size and complexity.


  • Operations/Project Management, responsible for product development, training, field support/communications and quality assurance. Help design the overall client experience and relationship function for new products which provides support to tax professionals who are assisting clients. Work closely with the technology team to manage and prioritize the business requirements for new financial, attach products, features and partnerships. Participate in the program planning process with other members of management and affected external partners. Monitor operational and/or project schedules to ensure that work is on track for timely completion with high quality. Ensure external partner and vendor coordination for processes or projects.
