Restorative Nursing Assistant
As a Restorative Nursing Assistant you will provide restorative and rehabilitative treatments to assigned residents in our skilled nursing facility under the direction of the ADON and / or Physical Therapist. When needed, assists with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining / tray services, escort services, performing vital signs and weights and other care related duties as assigned. As part of the care team, you will participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and notification of resident changes of condition as they occur.
Qualified applicants will possess current state certification and experience, as required. Current certification from a Restorative Nursing Assistant Certification Program is required. Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred. Restorative experience is preferred. Food handlers certification, where required. Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn. High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

They currently employ 1 physician and 1 nurse practitioner, who is retiring - the physician is looking forward to welcoming a new NP or PA to the team in this small concierge environment. The practice does not accept insurance, operating on a cash pay model in which patients - including professional athletes - demand the highest levels of both customer service and clinical care.
The new provider will work as a close partner to the physician-owner, including prepping for surgeries (instruments/tissues) and making phone calls to patients post-operation (minimal).
