Immediate Part-Time opportunity for guard carded security guards. This is a "work when you want to work" position. The amount you earn is up to you.

Looking for individuals interested in or experienced in unarmed security duties or overnight security duties for upcoming sporting events, festivals, concerts, and more!


  • Watch for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacts emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required

  • Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront and detain violators, as required, until police arrive

  • Patrols assigned area on foot or in motor vehicle, as assigned, to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security

  • Examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; uses client keys to open and close buildings; monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities

  • Prepares routine, standardized reports

  • Provides escorts as necessary

  • Informs and warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles


  • Must have a current AZ Guard Card



  • Unarmed Security Guard= $13.00 per hour

  • Overnight Unarmed Security Guard= $14.00 per hour



  • Minimum Age Of 18+

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing

  • Ability to walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions

  • Ability to comprehend numerous policies, procedures, concepts and to respond using discretion based on general and client-specific policies

  • Ability to maintain accurate records

  • Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations

  • ABLE TO WORK SOLO POSTS (Overnight shifts only)

Job Description

We are seeking Security Guards (armed or unarmed) to become an integral part of our team. We have several full time and part-time positions available for immediate hire. (Atlanta, Cartersville, Athens)



  • Provides excellent customer service

  • Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have

  • Makes periodic tours and patrols site on vehicle or foot

  • Preserves order and able to identify and resolve any situation

  • Monitors entrance and exits, thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Must have a current/valid Georgia Drivers License and an insurable driving history

  • Must be able to follow all company personnel and safety policies

  • Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Must be able to meet required certifications and/or licensing requirements for Armed Security Guard

  • Must be able to conduct duties in a safe and timely manner

  • One-year security experience, military or law enforcement

  • Ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions.

  • Possesses writing skills necessary to complete daily, incident, accident and investigative reports.

  • Public relations skills necessary to communicate effectively in a courteous, professional and tactful manner.

  • Must be able to accept responsibility, manage authority and maintain confidentiality of information.

  • Ability to function independent of constant supervision and exercise physical and emotional restraint under stressful conditions.

  • Ability to observe, listen attentively and use problem-solving skills.

 Security Guard -Part time, Nights

    Windsor Park, part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, is seeking a Security Guard. This position is responsible for security of the campus, protecting all campus vehicles, property, residents and staff. Security responsibilities are to police the buildings and grounds and respond to all emergencies on the campus during the security shift.



    In this role, the Security Guard will:

    • Respond to emergency call system.

    • Evaluate the need to notify any on-call personnel when necessary and follows designated procedures supporting on-call personnel as required.

    • In emergency situations, calls 911 and ensures connection with responding emergency personnel.

    • Check and secures all security equipment, completes scheduled patrols of entire campus.

    • Check and secure all exterior doors in all buildings.

    • Be on alert and is to challenge any/all trespassers on campus property.

    • Responsible for monitoring all vehicle traffic and help maintain all of traffic policies.

    • Have knowledge about and familiarizes self with the entire campus, equipment areas, campus phone system, emergency fire equipment/panels, emergency pendant system and follows all appropriate procedures.

    • Have familiarity with utility shut-off locations, and able to reset HVAC chiller system, when not operating. In addition, familiar with fire detector indicator panel locations and understands shut-off techniques and panel reset procedures.

    • Assist with basic maintenance functions, garbage disposal, room set up and clean ups on campus.

    • Write and distribute appropriate reports for all incidents.

    • Report all safety hazards and writes appropriate maintenance requests into the WorxHub software program.

    • Provide maintenance/housekeeping services at the direction of any leadership staff, on an emergency basis.

    • Provide non-emergency residential services that do not conflict with the main security purpose.


    The ideal candidate will have:

    • High school education.

    • Two years experience in security or other related work.

    • Current IL state driver’s license (CDL preferred) and maintain a good driving record.

    • First aid certification and to have experience in emergency medical situations.

    • Ability to read and write in English, to communicate with the other employees and residents.

    • Good interpersonal skills, project a friendly personality, understand customer service and team building concepts, and have the ability to work with people, especially the elderly.

    • Ability to follow oral and written directions.

    • Good observational skills are required.

    • Ability to work under conditions that require flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
