Snacks Ambassador/Installation Specialistat

$19/hr Full time Monday-Friday 9-5pm (times will vary)

Our Snacks Ambassador/Installation Specialist will elevate customer service for each and every snacks client- you are the face of our company and will help facilitate some of the day to day operations. In this position, you will anticipate what our clients need and deliver just that. You will be responsible for working with a portfolio of clients that you will visit weekly and in some cases, daily. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with the client and their teams. You will also plan, prepare, and setup for new snacks clients. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent time-management and can work effectively with little supervision. You will be addressing any in the moment needs as well as frequently refreshing the presentation. You are a Snacks and ZeroCater enthusiast.

What you will do:


  • Audit what is currently onsite with the Kitchen plan and planogram to ensure accuracy. Take inventory of how much is onsite.

  • Restore the shelves and bins in alignment with merchandising best practices so that the client is excited about the look of our program. Continue to elevate the snacks program look onsite.

  • Assess all storage areas to ensure we are maximizing space to meet clients’ goals for their program.

  • Delight clients with snacks tastings and samples to increase engagement for our program.

  • Prepare for new snacks clients in the warehouse. Organize and prepare for the setup.

Qualifications for success:


  • 1-2 years of hospitality, food service, or similar customer-facing role

  • Consistent record of delighting your customers with the service you provide

  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for food as a business solution that fosters community, culture, and productivity

  • Proficiency and experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM

Physical Requirements:


  • Able to lift at least 200 pounds

  • Able to kneel, crouch and bend

  • Able to walk up and down flights of stairs

Compensation:


  • You will work full-time, at ($19.00) per hour

  • You must have availability to work Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm

You will move a lot of heavy merchandise around all day, both indoors and outside. You will interact with our customers, make sure they feel welcome, and connect them to a more experienced salesperson when necessary.

Part of the magic of Flora Grubb Gardens is in the beauty of how everything is displayed. Your job will be to make that magic happen, over and over again. Because the media we work with are garden plants, pottery, and furniture, you’ll need to be strong, fit, and enthusiastic about working on your feet much of the time.

It would be great if you have experience building displays in any retail environment. You’ll need to have had some plant and garden experience and a passion for gaining more. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn!

Position Summary

The Retail Sales Merchandiser (RSM) is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure Client standards are met and volume is increased.

Sales and Merchandising


  • Maintain Client objectives by ensuring secondary placements of product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics


  • Shelf Standards and Conditions: authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards


  • Meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs.


  • Take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf


  • Prepare for and respond to audits


  • Manage time and prioritize for store call coverage


  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.


  • May provide feedback for Client audit objectives


Customer Relations


  • Communicate effectively both internally with management and externally with all customers


  • Build rapport with Clients and Customers


  • Field questions and proactively develop action plans to resolve issues

We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. This team is responsible for being proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as, but not limited to, cashiering, stocking, presentation and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating their needs.

  • Experience supporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

As a Small Format Team Member, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:


  • Greet and service guests as you complete workload with minimal guest disruption

  • Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned and in stock for guests

  • Push and stock product to sales floor

  • Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions and sales plans for all departments

  • Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for all departments

  • Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy

  • Support execution of major transitions and in-store marketing (ISM)

  • Support guest services with cashiering, order pick up (OPU) and Drive Up (DU), where applicable

  • Accurately execute all pulls (i.e., daily autofills, CAFs, out of stock, manuals and guest requests) and backstock product from all departments

  • Process all inbound deliveries (using the receive application) to ensure inventory accuracy

  • Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits

  • Operate power equipment only if certified

  • Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy and follow equipment guidelines

  • Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor own progress and accurately prioritize tasks

  • Provide service and a shopping experience that meets the needs of the guest

  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

  • Other duties based on business needs

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?



  • Lead Merchandiser will assist District Supervisor with training new merchandisers

  • Lead Merchandiser will cover open territories and handle special projects

  • Retail merchandiser responsibilities include stocking products and visual merchandising

  • Checking out of date items and product returns

  • Scanning, building and maintain displays,

  • Demonstrating knowledge of our clients' products,

  • Developing strong relationships with store personnel and providing exceptional customer service

  • Accurately reporting time worked, completing surveys and communicating with management staff.


WHAT DOES THE POSITION OFFER?

  • In order to perform the job you must have access to a computer, internet, and email for regular communication with your supervisor.

  • Candidates must have access to smart phone with the ability to take and upload pictures to company website as well as downloading app for reporting purposes.
