Job Description/Summary:

A Retail Brand Specialist/Ambassador works with one or many of Retail Assistance Corporation’s clients and develops strong relationships with the store manager during each visit. You will merchandise different brands weekly and monthly. We are seeking individuals who possess very strong communication skills, detail oriented and excellent time management skills a must.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Requirements

· Read, interpret, follow, and implement planograms, project requirements, and visual merchandising guidelines

· Various accounts require selling experience to promote the brand and generate sales on the floor, also to include training store personnel on product knowledge

· Be able to expedite stock to the selling floor to increase our client’s sale goals

· Communicate and build relationships with all levels of Management is key. Friendly and Outgoing

· Ability to work independently and efficiently

· Online reporting which include capturing and uploading clear photos to our reporting site for clients review

· Daily access to email to be able to read incoming correspondence with high speed internet

· Attend paid conference calls when necessary

· Prior Department Store/Specialty Store experience preferred

· Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Job Description:


SPAR Marketing partners with national small and large box retailers, managing both new and remodel store locations. This position includes fixture installation and product merchandising. We are seeking those individuals who are self-sufficient, highly motivated, and driven to execute high quality results in a fast pace atmosphere.


This is a travel position that will include overnight stay and travel up to 500 miles from home.


Requirements:



  • Planogram and Retail Store Shelving Fixture Installation experience.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and client supervisors, keeping them informed of all relevant project information

  • Qualified Project Leaders will need to understand budgeted hours. Manages the projects to-date hours tracking on a daily & weekly basis.

  • Ensure that all project-related documentation is complete, up-to-date and transmitted on time to required recipients.

  • Follow all policies, procedures and safety rules.

  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and able to drive up to 500 miles radius from home.

  • Personal cell phone is required and valid email address.

  • Strong problem solving and team building skills, with the ability to train team members

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to delegate tasks

  • Adequate PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, etc.

  • Lifting and carry minimum 50 lbs.

  • Knowledge/ability to use basic hand tools necessary for the job

Our client is a major wine and spirits distributor. They hire Temporary merchandisers throughout the year to work in major grocery and drug store chains at $16.50 HR. Our client’s needs change each week. As a result, we are unable to predict how much work they will have in any particular area. Due to that uncertainty, we highly recommend these opportunities be viewed more as “Gigs” than full time or steady jobs.


Merchandisers work in teams with merchandisers from the other major wine and spirits distributors in CA. The atmosphere is safe, supportive, low-key and FUN! Merchandisers are paid each Friday for hours worked the previous week.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:



  • $16.50 an hour

  • Merchandisers are paid each Friday via their choice of direct deposit or a payroll debit card.

    • Merchandisers are paid each Friday via their choice of direct deposit or a payroll debit card.

    • Must be able to read and follow detailed directions


    • Obtain sign off sheets and upload them to website


    • Ability to stand, squat, kneel for 810 hours and regularly lift 25 pounds

    • Implement schematics/Plan-O-Grams/MODs with all items tagged and approved by store management


    • Reset Activity, Shelf Conditions and Schematics Completion

    New Items

    • Will work on the achievement of business objectives through placement of new items at all assigned stores

    Distribution Audits

    • Will work to meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs and ensuring signage are in place

    Reset Activity and Schematics Completion


    • Must be able to maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards


    • Must be able to maintain schematic integrity through consistent communication with Retail Supervisor and other retail personnel


    POS Placement

    • Hang shelf signs, place coupons on product, etc. as directed by client

    Customer Relations

    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally to management and externally with Customers who will verify work is completed correctly

    Display Building

    • Assemble cardboard displays for promotion of an item as directed by client

    Reporting Administration

    • Will report daily into the companys web application each days activities and the work performed

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate would be working alongside major retailers and creating displays for our major cosmetic clients. Merchandisers are key to ensure displays are stocked, organized and accessible; they have a direct impact on customers’ shopping experience.


    · Assemble/set-up store fixtures and displays efficiently and accurately by following planograms


    · Execute layout changes and various merchandising tasks


    · Organize and replenish product on shelves in a timely manner


    · Eliminate out-of-stock and out-of-date product


    · Establish and maintain an effective relationship with store management


    · Accurately submit reports online


     


    Personal Characteristics


    · 1 - 3 years cosmetic or grocery merchandising experience is a strong asset;


    · Experience reading and executing planograms autonomously is required;
