What will I be doing?


  • As a Retail Odyssey Associate, you will help ensure customer satisfaction by:

  • Safely and efficiently stock new or changing products by following the Retailer store schematic 

  • Clean, straighten or assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines

  • Check code dates, rotate products that may be old or slow moving and remove unsaleable items 

  • Re-tag shelves in the store

Full time = Overnights + shifts if there’s a large project, guaranteed 40 hrs./wk., not guaranteed weekends or holidays off

Part time = Mon – Thurs (some Fridays if needed) 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, no weekends, holidays, or nights

Associate Skills Needed: Don’t worry! We will teach you all of the things you need to know!


  • Ability to read a store schematic and be attentive to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients

  • Ability to periodically lift up to 50 pounds and be on feet for 8 hours a day

Flexible gig for a hands-on team player with an eye for detail to provide merchandising services in large big-box retailers, including drugstores, grocery stores, and convenience stores.
Atlantic Coast Merchandising is hiring Project-based Retail Merchandisers.
Projects are typically 1 - 5 days and may be at a different store location each day, where you will be working on a team with other reset merchandisers as well as working independently. Work hours vary per project, however, a majority of projects start between 5 - 8 AM and are 6 - 9 hour shifts. The ideal worker is flexible and reliable and takes work seriously. Reset experience is preferred however related experience in retail may be acceptable.
As a member of ACM's on-demand crew, you will be an important part of transforming a vision into reality. The on-demand field position is the most important role in the ACM organization and is the perfect position for experienced merchandisers, college students, stay at home parents, or simply someone wanting a fun, flexible way to earn extra income. Or even better, make this your full-time gig with multiple projects!
This is an independent contractor opportunity, not part or full-time employment. Projects vary so there are no guaranteed set hours. Manage your projects in ACM360, our self-service web portal to choose projects when you are available to work. ACM has work opportunities all over the country available to you. The specific job duties for each project will vary and are provided when assigned. Duties may include:
Relocating Merchandise - Moving items from one part of the store to another, which may require carrying the items physically or with the use of carts or dollies to and from the store floor.? Merchandising Products - Properly displaying and tagging products per directives (plan-o-gram, schematic, etc). Team leads will inspect work for accuracy. Store Appearance - This may include changing signage and general cleaning of shelves, fixtures and floors.

  • Log billable time in the online mobile app; required to send arrival time and departure time.
  • Remain accessible and have open communication with the ACM Scheduling team.
  • Maintain a consistent work record, including reporting to shift on-time and adhering to ACM guidelines.
  • Understand and maintain placement of POP; audits; and POG maintenance and resets.


Skills/Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand planograms/schematics written in English.
  • Basic knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology and concepts.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid photo identification.
  • Active email address and phone number.

What will I be doing?

As a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser, you will help ensure client satisfaction in the following ways:


  • Creating and managing your own work schedule by logging into our online reporting system to accept or decline merchandising services as they come available at retailers in your area. You can accept anywhere from 0-20 hours per week. The availability of services will vary greatly throughout the year, and we do not guarantee a set number of hours each week. There may be time periods where services are not available.

  • Servicing your local retail stores by completing merchandising services independently or in a team, in a timely manner, and always delivering quality, while working with a variety of different types of merchandise.

  • Utilizing a mobile device to check in/out for services. You will also be taking and uploading photos to our online reporting system.

  • Merchandising service tasks will vary, but could include stocking, implementing plan-o-grams, visual merchandising, resets, product cut-ins, setting signage, audits, and developing strong relationships with store personnel.

  • LMS has ongoing nationwide weekly and monthly services and many additional projects available on a first come, first serve basis. As well as the ability for our Retail Merchandisers to become dedicated to certain locations and services (availability will vary nationwide).

  • Service opportunities may be one-time (project based) or reoccurring maintenance services (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc...).

  • Services need to be completed sometime between Monday-Friday, and sometime between the hours of 8am to 6pm. Weekend services may be available in some areas.

What will I be doing?

As a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser, you will help ensure client satisfaction in the following ways:


  • Creating and managing your own work schedule by logging into our online reporting system to accept or decline merchandising services as they come available at retailers in your area. You can accept anywhere from 0-20 hours per week. The availability of services will vary greatly throughout the year, and we do not guarantee a set number of hours each week. There may be time periods where services are not available.

  • Servicing your local retail stores by completing merchandising services independently or in a team, in a timely manner, and always delivering quality, while working with a variety of different types of merchandise.

  • Utilizing a mobile device to check in/out for services. You will also be taking and uploading photos to our online reporting system.

  • Merchandising service tasks will vary, but could include stocking, implementing plan-o-grams, visual merchandising, resets, product cut-ins, setting signage, audits, and developing strong relationships with store personnel.

  • LMS has ongoing nationwide weekly and monthly services and many additional projects available on a first come, first serve basis. As well as the ability for our Retail Merchandisers to become dedicated to certain locations and services (availability will vary nationwide).

Part Time MerchandiserMornings to Mid-afternoons - Monday- Friday

Job Summary

The Merchandiser role consists of an individual who can improve the consumer buying experience by creating merchandising solutions in their assigned stores. The retail merchandiser's duties include but are not limited to cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, and managing the merchandising of impulse items displayed on clip strips & j-hooks in specific areas of supermarkets. They are also responsible for the proper implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, stock rotation, and building displays. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in independent situations. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Maintain store presentation standards through building displays, fixture installation, store sets, shelf maintenance, down stock, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, display maintenance, and POP installation

  • Identify opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals

  • Cover multiple stores daily on an assigned route

  • Build relationships with business partners and store management

  • Assist and monitor customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with supervisors on all significant initiatives (new product introductions, contests, etc.)

  • Maintain full distribution and display of products on assigned accounts

  • Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor

Retail Brand Advocate (Full-time)

 

Summary:  
The retail Full-time Brand Advocate will effectively and efficiently merchandise product at store level while building relationships with key store personnel. This associate communicates key initiatives and information to store employees and managers regarding new product launches and existing product lines. Primary responsibility is to drive sales for our client.  The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, a tenacious troubleshooter, and adaptable.  

  
Requirements:


  • 1-year retail merchandising experience

  • Advanced understanding of technology (smart phones, audio head phones, tablets, MP3 players, and Wi-Fi connectivity)

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

  • Own vehicle with insurance (paid travel time and mileage reimbursement for personal car use)

  • Ability to store and transport supplies and point of purchase materials needed to complete job responsibilities

  • Available to complete on-line and in-person training as needed

  • Monday - Friday work schedule, 8am to 5pm (Holiday's and weekends as needed) - overnight travel is required in some territories (travel expenses reimbursed) and may include air travelMust have a computer with internet/email access and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Job Duties:


  • Support a well-known technology brand in retail locations to achieve the goals of our client – working closely with store employees to build partnerships, educating and inspiring them about the brand

  • Maintain working knowledge of all client products in order to be a subject matter expert

  • Merchandising and stocking gift cards on specified fixtures and planograms

  • Correct in-store merchandising issues as needed (display, fixture, product placement, pricing)

  • Maintaining demo units and displays

  • Replacing graphic signage on fixtures and demo displays

  • Cleaning dedicated fixtures and demo displays

  • Accurately completing store visit reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines

  • Manage schedule independently, ensuring territory (approx. 50-70 locations) visits are covered efficiently and per expectations

  • Develop, implement and maintain a business plan for the designated territory, driving measurable results for stores

  • Quickly adapt to existing processes and learn new technological advances

  • Ability to download and install software updates as well as job-specific apps and tools
