JOB DESCRIPTION:

A merchandiser receiver handles and processes stock in our warehouse and retail environment. The primary duty is to maintain an efficient flow of merchandise, which might involve documenting, storing, locating and distributing stock within a store or warehouse, depending on the specific needs of the employer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* As products arrive, merchandiser receivers take delivery and sort the items for store distribution.

* Verify incoming purchase orders and check to see if the order quantity is correct.

* Conduct quality control and quality assurance of the products.

* Helping to offload items from the truck and then carrying them into the warehouse or storage area.

* Monitor store shelves, replenishing stock as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

* 2-3 years prior experience in shipping and receiving

* Basic computer knowledge, such as, excel, word, etc.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Strong commitment to service.

* Must be able to lift parcels up to 50 lbs.

* No criminal record! A full background check and drug test will be conducted upon hiring.

Job Description


The Heavy Project Merchandiser is dedicated to assisting our Project Managers in ensuring that our client’s expectations are met in a professional and cost-effective manner. The position is responsible for personally performing and/or working with a team to complete all aspects of each project.


 


Job Requirements


· Perform in store resets of product in conjunction with written and verbal instruction provided by the Project or District Manager.


· Complete work orders and upload photos of all reset bays for every store visited.


· Upon request, call in to the office or supervisor upon arriving at each store.


· Ensure all resets are accurately completed on a daily basis.


· Ensure work orders and photos are uploaded to the website at the time of reset.


· Complete a sign-off form at conclusion of a reset with a member of store management and fax the sign-off form immediately after reset and before departure from store.


· Report accurate daily payroll hours to the Project or District Manager or call in hours if you do not have access to a computer.

Flexible gig for a hands-on team player with an eye for detail to provide merchandising services at local stores for national grocery retailers.
Atlantic Coast Merchandising is hiring Project-based Grocery Merchandisers.
Projects are typically 1 - 5 days and may be at a different store location each day, where you will be working on a team with other reset merchandisers as well as working independently. Work hours vary per project, however, a majority of projects start between 5 - 8 AM and are 6 - 9 hour shifts. The ideal worker is flexible and reliable and takes work seriously. Reset experience is preferred however related experience in retail may be acceptable, however, experience using a plan-o-gram or schematic is required.
As a member of ACM's on-demand crew, you will be an important part of transforming a vision into reality.
