Job Description


The ideal candidate will develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, build brand awareness, help to foster customer retention, provide sales support, and advance brand building.  This candidate has experience developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. He/she will be hands on with day-to-day marketing activities, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute marketing strategy

  • Monitor the competition to ensure company relevancy

  • Develop and/or direct marketing campaigns and programs

  • Direct preferred and retail customer promotional support

  • Analyze and interpret statistics and data regarding product performance and react accordingly

  • Contribute to annual marketing budget preparation and reconcile monthly

  • Manage employees with clear objectives and KPI’s

  • Maintain marketing, communications and social media staff through screening, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  • Develop marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities

  • Work closely with the social media team to develop campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals

  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications

  • Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors when needed

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging the proper internal processes


Requirements:



  • BS degree in marketing or a related field

  • 5 years’ experience in corporate and digital marketing, preferably within the Direct Sales industry

  • 3-5 years’ experience leading and managing a marketing team

  • Working knowledge of marketing databases, email marketing, SMS, and social media

  • Working knowledge of website, marketing, and social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, etc.)

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines

  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills

  • Ability to multitask with tight deadlines

  • Critical-thinker and problem solver
