Job Description


Our manufacturing and distributing business office is looking for a Customer Service Representative that will manage customer queries and issues. The CSR will be responsible for processing orders, modifications and escalating customer complaints. The CSR will support assigned sales personnel with all customer related activities.This position requires excellent customer skills, the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment, a flexible and positive attitude, and a strong sense of urgency to meet daily deadlines.


Key Responsibilities



  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries; processing sales orders, customer returns, corresponding to shipment delays, and providing quotations for all products.

  • Create professional bids, quotations and proposals.

  • Coordinate customer visits.

  • Create product samples to order.

  • Track shipments closely to ensure timely delivery to customer.

  • Correspond regularly with Supply Chain to follow completion of overseas orders from start to finish.

  • Communicate with the Sales Team and customers to ensure a satisfactory and timely resolutions.

  • Able to respond to internal and external customer inquiries providing professional, customer-facing interaction by phone, email or in person; manage customer complaints, even when handling unpleasant customers with discretion and tact.

  • Manage all customer preferences within the company ERP and CRM systems to ensure accuracy of data for assigned accounts.

  • Obtain functional knowledge of all wine portfolio products.

  • Communicate regularly with management regarding work flow, operations, and opportunities for streamlining current procedures.

  • Attend and present production meetings. 

  • Back up to team members as needed.


Requirements



  • 2 or 4-year college degree or relevant work experience.

  • ·High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills to handle all aspects of customer service and project management.

  • Strong working knowledge of customer service principles, practices and skills.

  • Customer focused attitude, passion for quality and a willingness to quickly cultivate product expertise.

  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize, problem solve and manage numerous projects on tight deadlines.

  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Summary/Objective
The Bilingual Manufacturing Floor Manager of the Wood Shop ensures timely and efficient production and assembly of wooden work surfaces. This individual is responsible for planning, supervising, and assigning the work of employees engaged in material handling, assembly, operating machines, etc. This position will report to the Plant Manager. This position will be located at our San Leandro, CA headquarters.

Responsibilities
o Plan daily and weekly production activities to maximize investments and increase efficiency
o Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties
o Perform role of safety leader and own responsibility for safety control of entire factory
o Ensure warehouse is in compliance with all state and federal laws. (i.e. OSHA)
o Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations
o Ensure organization of all products in the wood shop and manage wood shop inventory
o Implement and establish departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
o Review financial statements and activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement in order to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement
o Responsible for maintaining high standards related to the physical condition of the wood shop and equipment
o Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, and evaluation

Required Education & Experience



  • Must have a High School Diploma with relevant work experience, BA/BS strongly preferred


  • Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience in the manufacturing/production industry


  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment with exposure to cGMPs



Preferred Experience & Knowledge



  • LEAN manufacturing experience and/or certification


  • APICS Certified


  • Experience working with high speed manufacturing and converting machinery


  • Cannabis industry expertise a plus

Position Summary


 


The position of Outside Sale Rep (OSR) is a key member of the team. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Sales. This role will sell quartz products/parts to new or existing customers especially to OEM and end-users and mostly to Semi-Conductor markets. They will create prospect lists and create strategies to earn new business and large accounts.


 


The proven OSR will bring a strong relationship-building skills to identify, contact and develop new market opportunities and deepen penetration of existing customers markets. The OSR will take established capabilities and identify and solicit new target markets where solutions can be developed. They will come with a customer-centric approach, and technical knowledge of the fused quartz manufacturing industry. They will be able to analyze the customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products to meet those needs, prepares agreements, coordinate with the quote department, close the transactions and secure sales. They will be expected to uncover leads and hunt for new opportunities.


 


The most significant accomplishment you can make is to increase revenue, broaden the customer base and work to achieve the company’s business objectives. What you will do within 12 months is drive revenue by $3million in incremental volume and significantly change the current customer base and bring in new business.

The Manufacturing Engineer III is responsible for the definition, planning, coordination and execution of manufacturing automation, sustaining operations and processes. He/she ensures project budget, schedule, cost and qualification documentation are accurately forecasted and executed. Additional responsibilities include supporting product development in the areas of requirements specification, design reviews, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, DFM and equipment qualification. • Provides support and defines procedures for MES shop floor software implementation.
• Coordinates and supports NPI including DFM, product costing and scheduling.
• Drive process work instruction development and improvement to increase productivity, reduce scrap, improve on time delivery
• Leads and develops plans and executes tasks to solve process problems including non-conformances (NC), complaint investigations, audit observations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Monitors key metrics such as Customer Return Rate (CRR), First Pass Yield (FPY), and Scrap and provide improvement plans to exceed goals.
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.

Education / Experience:
• 7+ years Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience in Electronics Manufacturing
• Demonstrated knowledge of components, printed circuit boards, and chemistries used in electronics manufacturing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IPC-610/J-STD-001 requirements
• Demonstrated understanding of labor capacity, quoting and efficiency.
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with suppliers, customers, peers, and direct-labor manufacturing personnel.
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in one or more of the following areas: Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean Manufacturing, Process Control Concepts, Design of Experiments (DOE), Software Validation and design/process Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
