General Responsibilities

The Lot Attendant position may be the job for you if you are a team-oriented person who appreciates quality work and follows procedures.

As a Lot Attendant you would:


  • Work independently as well as with a team on different projects

Responsible for ensuring that the overall car rental flow in the lot is as efficient and seamless as possible, including monitoring the car lot supply, movement and cleanliness, receiving and inputting car ready tickets, and processing vehicles upgrades, exchanges, and Express rentals.


RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Monitor car lot supply, movement and cleanliness; maintain adequate model mixes to meet demand; secure vehicles through physical inventory and ensure placement on lot is accurate to achieve efficiency in the car rental process


  • Receive and enter car ready tickets and new car information into computer system to update inventory


  • Process vehicle upgrades and/or exchanges


  • Process Express rentals, as required


  • Identify vehicles to be mass-moved, and communication/coordinate with Shuttlers to achieve task


  • Assist with flow of vehicles off lot


  • Distribute new cars keys for customers and employees

• Maintaining the lot and buildings, including trash removal, sweeping, snow removal, and de-icing

Lot Attendant responsibilities


  • Moving customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility

  • Maintaining an orderly service parking area, lot and vehicle display, car preparation, shop and showroom appearance

  • Retrieving customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid

Requirements:


  • Friendly and customer service focused

  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure

  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside

  • Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles

  • Have basic computer knowledge

  • Customer Service experience is preferred

  • Professional appearance is necessary

  • Valid driver’s license is required

  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
