Citywide Home Loans is seeking bilingual Loan Officer’s and/or Loan Officer Assistant’s to join our busy team in our Greenwood Village branch.


Desired Experience:



  • Thorough understanding of underwriting policies and procedures, including investor guidelines and regulatory updates

  • Thorough knowledge of FHA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines and standards

  • Experience with VA and USDA preferred but not required

  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional, highly ethical manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and possessing a high degree of attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, customers, and co-workers

  • Time management and organization skills to effectively prioritize multiple objectives and achieve volume goals

  • Must be able to work in a production/flexible environment

  • Intermediate PC and keyboarding skills, including experience with Windows operating systems


Requirements:



  • MUST be licensed with NMLS currently for the state of CO

  • 2+ years of mortgage lending experience preferred

  • Must be team oriented

  • Strong experience with FHA and conventional loans

  • Experienced with purchase transactions

  • Must be able to follow loan protocols

  • Multi-State experience and license preferred

  • Must be efficient with computers and loan operating systems

  • Origination of new business on a regular basis, including cold calls & warm calls to generate and convert leads

  • Must be team oriented, work in a high paced environment, work closely with others to meet production goals

Loan officer assistant/Jr. Loan officer


 


Job summary:


 


Under the direction of two top producing loan offers, provides clerical and administrative support to them and acts as a liaison between the loan officer, in process customers, and branch operations staff. Maintains production reports and provides them daily. Manages active pipeline and ensures timely closing of all transactions.


 


In addition to assisting the loan agents, this person will be need to be technologically driven as they will help implement and run online marketing platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Yelp, etc. They will also be responsible to putting together marketing materials needed by referral partners such as realtors or financial advisors.


 


The best fit for this position would be someone who is sales driven. Opportunities for growth are to learn the business and become a licensed loan assistant, where they may be able to help the loan agent take applications, lock loans, quote rates, hold open houses etc. And eventually train a new assistant, so they can step out on their own as a producing loan officer.


 


 


Additional Duties and responsibilities:



  • Assists loan officers in managing pipeline in a timely and efficient manner, while obtaining working knowledge of company products as well as private and government insured mortgage guidelines.


  • Schedules and attends appointments with potential customers for the loan officers.


  • Interacts and interfaces, in a support capacity, with all parties involved in each individual loan transaction from application to closing.


  • May assist loan officer with potential home buyers by obtaining all necessary support documents. Assists in collecting additional documents and promptly communicating loan status to all interested parties. Obtains remaining or uncollected loan documentation after closing.


  • Stays abreast of changes in rules and regulations pertaining to private and government insured mortgages.


  • Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.



  • Other duties as assigned.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:





  • High school diploma or equivalent with two years of sales or finance experience OR recent College graduate holding an Associates or Bachelor’s degree


  • Ability to interact with regional, and corporate departments, as well as realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, etc.


  • Excellent and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.


  • An ability to quickly assess and process large amounts of information, and must be able to use designated technology.


  • Must continue to expand knowledge of issues influencing the industry and the organization.


  • Must be organized and detail-oriented and possess ability to prioritize work load based on loan volume.


  • Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.


  • Must be proficient in required origination technology and use of other office equipment.


  • Must maintain confidentiality of borrower and/or company information.


  • Must be willing to work overtime, as required.

Job description

Responsible for the all mortgage loan volume throughout the assigned district outside the branches. Acts as an advisor to potential and existing mortgage customers. Maximize production with referrals from local builders, realtors and contractors. Ensure an exceptional customer experience is maintained with all potential and existing customers. Cross-selling other bank products is a key to maximizing production. Ensure all aspects of bank operations in regards to mortgages and equity loan and line closings are in compliance with all applicable state and Federal laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Sales - Maximize loan production through non-branch referrals and cold-calling. Increase loan applications from referrals of center of influences and existing customers. Cross-sell other retail products with every closed loan. Develop business outside of branch through realtors, homebuilders, relocation services,etc. All sales will come from non-branch referrals except for Construction Perm, Renovation Perm and Lot Loans. These three loans if uncovered inside the branch will still be referred to the MBO.

Ensure loan production goals are met each month. Meet the minimum requirement for cross-sell of other bank products at each loan closing. Contact each referral source once a week and make two new external referral sources each month.

Increase mortgage loan volume through effective selling. Cross-sell bank products at each mortgage closing. Advise customer on the mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances.

Become a leader in the community when it comes to mortgages and mortgage knowledge. Build and deepen relationships with industry-specific center of influences like real estate agents and contractors. Maximize the banks resources to assist in selling and establishing relationships.

Comply with all appropriate bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Always deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Education/Experience

Bachelor''s Degree (BA, BS, etc.) in Business, Finance, or a related field required with Three (3) years of consumer mortgage and home equity business management experience. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Basic Description:
The Loan Officer Assistant will assist & support their Senior Mortgage Banker(s) (SMB) in the origination of residential real estate loans. This support role is critical in facilitating data processing, along with analysis of documents necessary to qualify and submit client files to the Operations Department. The candidate will be working hand in hand behind the scenes with the SMB in following protocol while offering and developing a timely & efficient workflow to maximize and prioritize every aspect of origination support activities. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines on each task is imperative.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Support & collaborate with all of Flat Branch Operations Staff (i.e. Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing, Shipping and Secondary).

  • Establish & implement comprehensive and marketing strategies to drive business development, build strong client relationships, and support the Senior Mortgage Banker in building strong realtor and client relationships.

  • Management of Mortgage Returns and all of its functions (i.e. data entry, campaign facilitation, emails, phone calls, letters and anything else deemed necessary and/or appropriate).

  • Create, implement, and manage necessary procedures to maximize team efficiency and provide tools for success (i.e. pipeline progression and workflow)

  • Gather, analyze, upload and label all necessary documentation into the Encompass e-folder.

  • Timely follow up of critical documents from clients in order to facilitate a timely closing.

  • Data entry, facilitating credit pulls, running of DU/LP and GUS through our LOS

  • Setting appointments and/or organizing business related gatherings

  • Enhance relationships with clients and strategic referral partners via marketing documents.

  • All other duties as assigned. ​

Basic Description:
The Loan Officer Assistant will assist & support their Senior Mortgage Banker(s) (SMB) in the origination of residential real estate loans. Position Summary


Over the last nine years the National Auto Loan Network has grown to be one of America's fastest growing direct to consumer automobile lenders. If you have a resume with at least 3 years working in a sales and or finance department in a Retail Automobile Dealership or selling Vehicle Service Contracts over the phone this career opportunity is for you.


A Loan Officer (“LO”) is a critical position, and it is at the center of what we do at NALN. This position communicates with consumers in various parts of the country about securing an auto loan and or offering and selling a vehicle service contract. As a Loan Officer you will discuss loan options with consumers, review and analyze pertinent documents and information, input consumer information into our proprietary software system, and sell the loan along with ancillary products either within or outside the loan to the consumer once it is approved.


Key Deliverables



  • In the first week, learn the role of a Auto / Vehicle Service Contract Loan Officer

  • How to use the enterprise system to quickly and accurately fill in the consumer data;

  • What constitutes a complete application

  • How to answer the phone and how to make outbound calls to consumers who have already applied

  • Complete all steps in processing a loan request.

  • In the first month, work with team members to understand the following:

  • Company history

  • Team members and their roles

  • Product offerings

  • Loan variables and how to “close” a loan

  • Spend at least 6 hours per day on the phone talking with consumers

  • Collecting and analyzing information regarding customer’s income, assets, investments or debts; determining which financial product best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances; advising the customer regarding the advantages and disadvantages of various financial products and credit options; and marketing, servicing or promoting financial products offered by NOVA.

  • Assist Loan Officer with generating bona fide business leads and developing referral networks in order to locate prospective customers.

  • Counsel and pre-qualify potential customers, including the obtaining of complete and accurate loan application information, analyzing such information, and advising customers regarding all aspects of the loan process, feasibility of granting loan and alternative financial products available.

  • Collect and confirm the accuracy of all necessary supporting loan documentation, including credit histories, financial statements along with the appropriate fee and lock-in information, and ensure all loans conform to all applicable terms and guidelines.

  • Obtain pricing, secure and lock precise loan terms, and effectively communicate loan details and terms with clients; review HUD-1 for accuracy prior to closing.

  • Provide Loan Officer with regular status updates on assigned files.

  • Responsible for researching products and underwriting guidelines; stay informed of market trends and developments; stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products.

  • Assist with database management and marketing projects, as required.

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to all types of mortgage loans.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of, and strict compliance with, all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations regarding all types of mortgage loans.
