Job Duties:


  • Product quality control, including presentation

  • Product inventory and ordering

  • Perform all BOH crew duties as needed including prep and supportive work, butchery and working all line stations and expediting

  • Report to Executive Chef

Basic Requirements:


  • 1-year kitchen supervisory experience

  • Proven staff management skills

  • Experience with high volume

  • Desire to grow through demonstrated performance

  • Basic knowledge of food and labor costing

  • Flexible schedule (location is open from 4am - 11pm)

  • Ability to multi task, problem solve and work well under pressure

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Organized

  • Understanding of safety and sanitation principals

  • Able to identify problems and opportunities, create an action plan and effectively implement change.

  • Must have a positive attitude, good people skills (with superiors, subordinates, purveyors and guests) and be a team player.

  • Experience with union staff a huge plus

  • Food safety and sexual harassment certified (training provided)

  • Able to speak, read and write English (bi-lingual a plus)

  • Basic physical requirements including standing for long periods, ability to work in high temperature, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., able to finger / grasp / and use equipment with dexterity, possess all abilities needed to perform job duties in a safe manner.

  • The Catering Coordinator is responsible for working as a member of a cohesive operations team supporting the Director of Catering and sales team, as well as the General Manager to enable perfect event execution. This individual functions as a support to the Event Manager and Captains, as well as sometimes acting as a junior sales specialist when business levels are high. The Catering Manager maintains a positive, “win-win” attitude, always working to improve the execution and timeliness of their team.

  • Ensuring all event information in CaterXpert from the sales team is up to date and fully detailed prior to event/deadlines.

  • Review event floorplans, day of supervisor packets, pack lists and rental equipment to ensure all information is current and correctly distributed.

  • Responsible for communicating SRCG procedures, standards and expectations to all event staff when on-site. They will be responsible for communicating all pertinent event information to the culinary and operations teams and for completing the day of supervisor packet for use on site.

  • Assisting in the setup and execution of events

  • Ensure that event rentals have scheduled deliveries and pickups that are convenient for specialist or venue manage

  • Maintain calendar of events through Outlook and attend all necessary event meetings and conference calls.

  • Communicate with sales, culinary and booking staff, as needed, to ensure understanding of menus and client need

  • Responsible for the collection and submission of all payments and deposits as it relates to contracted events. They are responsible for ensuring that these payments are on time and responsible for reviewing the weekly AR report and correcting any discrepancies and/or collecting any late payments.

  • Responsible for nimble trouble shooting and determining the best judgment calls when a quick decision needs to be made.

  • Managing a staff, holding them accountable for their work and disciplining as needed.

  • Follow up with photographers post event to request event photos

  • Act as first point of contact for general leads and gather as much detailed information as needed

  • Keep accurate log of event inquiries and distribute to specialists as needed

  • Process event closeouts on following day of each event

  • Send out nightly event reminders to internal staff

This position is within our “Meat”/”Cheese” department. It is preferred that the right candidate will have kitchen experience, food packaging, food prep, knowledge of food safety and sanitation, and a variety of other food production experience. Ability to use kitchen equipment such as a food processor, 60 qt mixer, oven, stock pots.

Some tasks you might be asked to do include: assisting the Production Manager with food prep, washing dishes, cleaning work stations, packaging food, sweeping & mopping, wiping down kitchen equipment, etc.

We are seeking both a Full Time and Part Time Production Assistant!

Experience:

2+ years working in a kitchen or food production environment preferred

Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for 8 hours

Job Duties:


  • Product quality control, including presentation

  • Product inventory and ordering

  • Adjust and maintain order pars as needed
