Requirements include-


Certificate of Clinical Competence required


Proficiency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies preferred but will train the appropriate candidate.


Must have the ability to independently evaluate and treat rehab patients with speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.


Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Vital Stim competency a plus.


Experience working with patients with tracheotomy and speech valves a plus - will train.


Lee Silverman Voice Treatment a plus.


Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


Knowledge of electronic medical records a plus.

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Will also treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Furthermore, will provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals. Will work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines. Will practice evidence-based services and programs for people with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities in response to physician recommendations in home, school, clinic, and/or other natural settings.Required Education:Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Job Description


We're looking for an exceptional Bilingual (Spanish) School Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position in Oak Park, IL for the 2020-2021 School year.  This is a 32.5-hour per week position in elementary buildings. Caseload is 40 to 60, grades EC to 6th, disabilities would be SLD, SLP, ED, and students with autism.




Job Requirements for School Speech Language Pathologist:




  • Desire to bring life-giving excellence to school-aged children


  • 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience as a SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or credential in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one

  • State School Services Credential where required
