We are looking to hire baristas for our newest location in SF on 650 California Street, to prepare and serve beautiful coffee to the people; and we need your help to do it. We are currently hiring for both part-time hourly positions and will report to our Cafe Manager. Cafe hours are the following: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM, closed on weekends.

In the role of Barista, your responsibilities would include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have strong customer service skills, enjoy interacting with diverse groups of people, be dependable, reliable, and have a strong interest in coffee. You should also be able to work various shifts, including weekends. Note: This position’s compensation includes $16.00/hr + tips

Ultimately, you will ensure we provide an excellent experience for our guests.

Responsibilities/Duties:


  • Greeting customers as they enter, strong customer service skills is a must

  • Answering customers questions regarding the drink menu and ingredients

  • Educating customers on our drink menu and making recommendations based on their preferences

  • Prepare beverages following recipes

  • Keep the bar area stocked and clean

  • Ensure brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

Qualifications:

Job Summary:

Pink Owl Coffee is seeking an EXPERIENCED and motivated Barista to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate is someone who can grow and flourish daily. They maintain P.O.C’s trademark quality standards at all times and provide outstanding customer service to every customer. Our Baristas always puts the customer first and do what they can to make a positive impact in their life. This is more than getting a cup of coffee, this is building relationships.

Essential Job Duties:


  • Make quality coffee and espresso based beverages, while building relationships and providing outstanding customer service to every customer

  • Follow guidelines regarding cleanliness and safety daily

  • Keep coffee and food products fully stocked

  • Be an expert on our menu and specials with the ability to learn new drinks as needed

  • Willingness to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift, as assigned by manager

Preferred Skills:


  • Dedicated team player with ability to work independently

  • Strong attention to detail with presentation, preparation and cleanliness

  • Self-starter who can maintain a positive and upbeat attitude while remaining responsible

What we need from you:


  • At least 18 years of age

  • Open availability, including weekends (we are currently not hiring seasonal employees and are looking for long term reliable employees)

  • Having coffee experience is required, and is a plus

  • Reliable means of getting to and from work

The location of this role is in our coffee stores, where you may be in close proximity with other Baristas. You may be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day and required to walk, bend, reach and twist to perform your duties. This role also requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

RAWR Coffee Bar is a small coffee shop and cat store. We have a traditional no frills coffee menu and also sell a variety of items for cats and their people including food, toys and swag. We also operate the entry to Cat Town (a non-profit cat rescue) next door. We are looking to add a part time barista/shopkeeper to our staff (25-35 hours per week). Pay starts at $15/hr plus tips.

We are looking for candidates who have coffee experience under their belt, are people-friendly, and love cats. The job would include making espresso drinks, running a register, checking folks in for Cat Town reservations as well as advising customers on our cat related products. It is essential that you have people skills as you will not be working with the cats directly. 

Daily tasks include:

Making delicious espresso drinks

General maintenance and upkeep of the bar and cafe

Restocking merch 

Breakdown and cleanup of the espresso machine

Handling purchases

Checking Cat Town visitors in for their reservations

We are looking for candidates that: 


  • Have coffee experience on a manual machine, and take pride in the drinks they make and serve. 

  • Can keep their work space clean

  • Are honest and have integrity 

  • Are willing to be trained to our coffee specs and how we run the shop

Summary:

Red Bay Coffee is looking for an Area Lead to grow and drive success in our retail locations in the Bay Area market. This role will be responsible for managing multiple store locations to financial success, operational efficiency, and excellent guest service experience, as well as assisting with opening new stores. About the role:
