Ashikian Jewelry Group is seeking a Full Time in-house Fine Jewelry CAD Designer capable of creatively interpreting 2D drawings and converting design concepts into accurate 3D CAD models.


Responsibilities:



  • Interpreting 2D drawings into 3D jewelry CAD models

  • Designing custom jewelry pieces

  • Creating photo-realistic CAD renders for customer approval

  • Maintain an organized library of digital assets, client files and change requests.


Requirements:



  • Artistic Background

  • Jewelry industry experience

  • Must have experience designing jewelry

  • Experience with Matrix/Rhino

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Design portfolio

  • Creative and innovative eye for design

The primary role of the retail sales professional for fine jewelry and diamonds is to increase sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis in both the sales and service categories; by achieving goals set forth by upper management, adhering to the sales manager's rules and training, participating in all scheduled meetings that relate to sales education, product knowledge, superb customer service and making people happy!


Must have a love of sales and customer service. Work environment allows individuals to express their creativity and take an active role in store/brand planning. The position requires daily sales and jewelry repair, developing and retaining a loyal client base, contacting customers regarding new products, promoting and participating in store events, merchandising, setting and meeting personal goals as well as store goals.


Candidate must have very strong organizational skills, possess drive, be goal orientated, be able to set priorities, learn and adapt to new procedures and display an energetic and positive attitude.
