This is a full time position requiring nights and weekends.

Compensation: We want Membership Specialists making at least $25 per hour through a combination of a $18/hour base pay plus commission on all memberships and fitness packages sold, with successful Specialists earning $35+ per hour.

This is a sales position. The Membership Specialist actively seeks and enrolls new members to the Almaden Valley Athletic Club. The Specialist qualifies interested individuals, guides them toward the right AVAC package, completes the contract, and provides exceptional follow up customer service resulting in referral sales and continual member engagement.

  • Responsible for establishing new accounts by compiling lists of prospective customers for the use of sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, internet, networking, and other sources.

  • Qualifying new customer leads by performing continual searches for new customer prospecting and penetrating line items in existing accounts.

  • As directed by the DSM, it may be necessary to cover vacation relief by, calling, and taking orders in the same schedule to which our customers have become accustomed.

  • The ISR experience, training, and skills acquired performing their duties may position them to become a retail sales representative in the field.

JOB OVERVIEW


The Inside Sales Representative will build and grow designated accounts and achieve overall sales goals. Support all US channel partners and external sales team members. Provide technical and product selection support and follow up on all active leads and quotes. RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

  • Understand customer needs and requirements and advise on appropriate product selection

  • Provides direct support for Direct sales managers, channel partners, and distributors

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure

  • Close sales through diligent follow up and achieve quarterly quotas

  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the assigned territory

  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
