Field Installer, Imaging Technician Job Description:


Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies imaging equipment on-board US Navy submarines. Performs maintenance and technical support activities at customer and/or field locations for imaging integrated system and subsystem equipment and software. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Removes, upgrades, and installs engineering field changes to equipment. Maintains positive communications and relations with the end customer. Provides onsite training of customer personnel as needed.


Provides technical services in support of, but not limited to, the AN/BVY-1 Integrated Submarine Imaging System for US Navy submarines. Field Support Technician responsible for the introduction of the latest technology to the US Navy Submarine Fleet. Provide services following customer direction to perform Fleet/NAVSEA tasking including: system removal and installation, system software/hardware support, on-board troubleshooting (including fiber optic and system networking support), corrective maintenance actions, and on-board maintenance training. Work requires personnel to be on travel approximately 50% of the time.


 


Field Installer, Imaging Technician Required Skills:



  • Journeyman level knowledge or better in Server Base Processors and Networks.

  • Must be a self-starter able to work independently with little supervision.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be U.S. citizen able to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance.


 


Field Installer, Imaging Technician Highly Desirable Skills:



  • Operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills for a variety of platforms to include: Los Angeles, SSGN, and Virginia Class sub-systems.

  • Prefer a USN Submarine Electronics or Sonar Technician with at least six years of experience across multiple platforms and systems or four-year college degree in a related discipline.

  • Fiber Optic Certification.

The Daily


  • The job will require very frequent travel and unpredictable hours in the field, but you will get the rare opportunity to experience a presidential election up close, and see nearly all of America.


  • Because we are shooting extensively and editing concurrently, there will be a large amount of digital material to manage and get quickly to post production.


  • As memory cards get filled, the DIT will be responsible for transferring footage to redundant archival drives and transporting material to the edit.


  • The DIT will also assist camera people with lighting, gear, and rigs, and ensuring visual consistency throughout the production.


  • We will be moving quickly and often; we are looking for someone who can adapt swiftly and works well with a team.

    • Performs all routine aspects of MRI procedures, including but not limited to QC, start-up procedures, signal-to-noise test scans, program/sequence selection, contrast injection, & image processing.


    • Operates various x-ray & imaging control consoles, portable units, tube assemblies, lock systems, collimators, filters & tubes in order to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures & exams including- but not limited to -gastro-intestinal exams, plain radiography in areas such as operating room, urology & emergency department urology & emergency department.


    • Operates auxiliary imaging equipment such as - but not limited to - tomographic units, Buckies, image intensifiers, spot film devices, video monitors, CR equipment, digital imaging, C-arms & portable units.


    • Prepares & administers the appropriate oral, intestinal & I.V. contrast media or as appropriate, assists the radiologist with I.V. Contrast administration.


    • Ensures that correct & required patient identification information & left or right marker appears on all images.


    • Centers tube & film to area of interest.


    • Utilizes appropriate photo-timing, mill-amperes (MA), kilovoltage (KVP), seconds, distance, collimation, intensifying screens, film speed & grids in order to produce diagnostic quality images which demonstrate the area(s) of interest & exhibit acceptable contrast, density & detail.


    • Explains the exam/procedure to the patient in order to solicit cooperation & obtain patient understanding.


    • Assesses the patient's history & overall condition & makes the necessary modifications in technique and/or positioning to compensate for pathology or other considerations.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Experience


    • Minimum three (3) years of experience within the last twelve (12) months in radiologic technology, including one (1) year of recent experience in magnetic resonance imaging.


    • May substitute one (1) year MRI experience with successful completion of the department's formal MRI training program.


    Education

    • Graduation from a JRCERT approved school of Radiologic Technology.

    License, Certification, Registration


    • Possess current and valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate, and, Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Public Health.


    • BLS and certificate in venipuncture.


    • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (Radiography).


    Additional Requirements:


    • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize the theories, principles, practices and techniques of radiologic technology.


    • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and utilize the principles, theories, practices, and techniques of basic and advanced magnetic resonance imaging including clinical exams, physics, MRI safety, cross-sectional anatomy, and patient care.

    Provides Computed Tomography imaging procedures within scope of practice, including receiving and preparing patients and equipment for procedures and maintaining supplies for the CT department. Produces high quality scans by following protocols set forth by the radiology department.     The multi-specialty surgical center is seeking an experienced certified surgical technologist/chart manager. The position is working 24-32 hours per week in multiple specialties including pain management, spine, breast oncology and general surgery. The surgery center is AAAHC accredited with Medicare deemed status. Candidates must have surgical work experience to be considered.


    The surgical/OR tech performs as a scrub assistant on operative procedures and maintains aseptic/sterile technique for the duration of each procedure. Provides pre-operative care in the operating room utilizing current acceptable surgical practices. Responsible for supplies and equipment needed on assigned operative procedures according to surgeons preference, disinfecting and sterilizing OR and instruments, assisting the physician in proper positioning of a patient utilizing appropriate equipment and devices. Perform as a circulating assistant to the OR staff nurse as required. Assists with initiating and maintaining sponge, needle and miscellaneous counts throughout operative procedures according to OR policy and procedures. Assists with specimen handling during operative procedures according to OR policy and procedures. Clearly explain pre/post-operative instructions to patients, making patient follow-up calls, assisting with patient turnover and with IV sedation.


    In addition, the position will manage all surgery center charts to ensure completeness and compliance. This includes but is not limited to chart checking, chart and lab scanning, filing, surgical log keeping and other tasks as assigned by management.


    Applicant should have demonstrated the use of equipment/supplies, Must be prompt and on-time for the shift, must have the ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and meet mandatory deadlines. Objective is to gather 3D Survey,as-built documentation using proprietary technology and process for retailersnationwide. Site Surveyor will work with our project management team forproject assignments, schedule, and general requirements. Candidate will beprovided training and must be willing to travel nationwide for periods of time.

    ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES:



    • Conduct site surveys and collect data for as-built creation and scope documentation.

    • Produce and complete surveys timely as scheduled.

    • Proficient in basic construction and survey methodology.

    • Proficient in identification and documentation of typical commercial equipment, layouts, naming conventions.

    • Provide quality deliverable's (survey data) in the format and distribution method identified by project lead.

    • Ability to follow directions, understand project scope, maintain project schedule and complete designated work on time as established.

    • Flexible schedule required for project duration.

    • Ability to travel extensively during project duration is a plus


    REQUIREMENTS:



    • Ability to travel nationwide.

    • Attend training as scheduled.

    • Site survey and development experience required.

    • Knowledge and proficient use of current site survey technologies is a plus.

    • Familiarity of basic construction knowledge.

    • Must have cell phone.
