The host/ess is responsible for delivering a friendly greeting upon guests arrival, promptly seating the guests, and bidding them farewell and inviting them back upon their departure. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Greet guests immediately upon arrival

  • Carry guests’ drinks to their seats/tables from the bar area and transfer their tab to the table if needed

  • Tour the restaurant in intervals to identify any empty tables

  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary

  • Complete opening/running/closing side work duties as assigned

  • Assist teammates with opening/running/closing side work duties upon request

  • Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS



  • High School Diploma preferred

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • 18+ years of age

  • Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards 

  • Minimum of one (1) years related experience 

  • Familiarity with Opentable

  • Proper lifting techniques 

  • Guest relations

  • Sanitation and safety

  • Safe alcohol service

  • Full service restaurant operations

  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public

Do you consider yourself a social butterfly? Know how to get the party started? Can you keep the energy high throughout the night? Are you organized, dependable and motivated? We want you on our team!


The Job: We are a club crawl company bringing travelers and guests to multiple venues in one night, offering them accelerated entry past general admission at each, skipping the cover charge and offering them drink specials at the starting locations. We run in Downtown LA and Hollywood. Both crawls run every weekend, Fridays and Saturdays only. We're looking for a personable and outgoing team member, with the knowledge and know how- to get the job done.


 


Pay: $80-$100 / per shift + tips, and opportunity for growth.


 


Job Role: You will be bringing guests to some of the most elite venues Los Angeles has to offer. You will be greeting guests upon check in, confirming ticket purchase, creating drinking games for guest, maintaining the energy of the group throughout the night, capturing photos of guests to showcase their experience, as well as making sure everyone stays together.


 


Skills Required for the Job:


- Must have weekend availability (Fridays and/or Saturdays)


- Must be available to work NYE, Halloween, Labor Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend


- Great communication skills with the guests as well as our team.


- Know how to battle social awkwardness and overcome it.


- Excellent Improvisational skills and the ability to think on your feet.
