- Weather may impact work schedule good communication with your manager is a must. - Arrive to your shift 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time - Visit the Athletic Center to find out the level of Business for that day at the Athletic Center - Attain the keys to the truck and drive to the entrance of the basement - Load the truck with all the requisitions needed for that day’s service - Load up with 4 containers of ice - Take down to the Athletic Center Setup area - Have 3 * 8-foot tables ready for service with tablecloths - Set up the wireless computer system for ringing in tickets to Bogeys - Have everything set up, with signage, ready 10 minutes prior to service - Once you have rung up a ticket with food orders, remember to pick up from Bogeys - Give the member a time frame for the delivery of their food – 20 minutes is the goal - Pick up the food from Bogeys along with necessary condiments and deliver to the guest poolside - During slow periods of the day, make sure you walk around the pool, offering beverages to the members - Make sure that you get every ticket signed by the guest - When it is 15 minutes prior to closing the bar pool service down – take 1 walk around the pool letting the guests know that you are taking last orders before closing - Clean and clear the pool service area – taking all beverages back to the club house - Leave the area clean and clear ready for service the next day - Ensure that all Food Products are delivered Hot to the Guests in a Presentable condition - Ensure that all Drinks made are decorative and adhere to all State of California Liquor Laws

PURPOSE


The host/ess is responsible for delivering a friendly greeting upon guests arrival, promptly seating the guests, and bidding them farewell and inviting them back upon their departure.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Greet guests immediately upon arrival

  • Inform the guests that their table is ready and invite them to the table

  • Carry guests’ drinks to their seats/tables from the bar area and transfer their tab to the table if needed

  • Pull out their chairs and tables to make it easier for the guests to sit down

  • Answer calls promptly and politely

  • Utilize all tables on a rotation to achieve highest turnaround of guests and maintain smooth flow of the restaurant

  • Keep host stand well organized and stocked

  • Tour the restaurant in intervals to identify any empty tables

  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary

REPORTS TO: Host, Executive Casino, Manager of Player Development


SUPERVISES: N/A


 


 


WORKING HOURS:  This is a hourly, non-exempt position.  The incumbent is expected to devote such time and energy as is reasonably necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.  Position may require further availability evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.


 


SUMMARY:  Responsible for all activities pertaining to developing, analyzing and maintaining the player database for River Rock Casino and providing a wide range of support to the Guest Services/Marketing Team.   


 


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Provides top of the line full service host duties (PR and Sales) on and off company site.

  2. Provides full cycle event planning for all levels of players and guest,, includes, coordinating, inviting, hosting, costing and follow-up reporting,

  3. Creates and maintains programs to encourage new player growth and player retention.

  4. Designs, prepares and presents accurate and relevant data analysis as it relates to marketing client database, provides database support to authorized Team Members.

  5. Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential player markets.

  6. Provides administrative support of a technical nature to Casino Host and Guest Services/Marketing Department (i.e. create electronic copies of reports and activity tracking templates, etc.).

  7. Works closely with Guest services /Marketing team in preparation for new programs and procedures.

  8. Monitors and facilitates the introduction of new Casino programs.

  9. Updates Players Club database with, player point activity.

  10. Maintains file system for correspondence, records and other related information.

  11. Audits player activity and submits periodic reports to the Player Development Manager.

  12. Maintains a positive, upbeat work style for interaction with all guests and fellow Team Members.

  13. Promotes the Players Club, entertainment, games and eating establishments of the Casino.

  14. Possesses a general of all games and slot machine throughout the Casino.

  15. Works in conjunction with all Team Members to enhance guest service and overall image of the Casino.

  16. Works as a player/guest ambassador by fulfilling every need possible for the guest.

  17. Creates relationships and connections with the guest by answering general questions etc.

  18. Services as announcer or emcee during player events.

  19. Exercises appropriate discretion identifying situations that require management attention.

  20. Completes all paperwork requirements and departmental logs in an accurate and timely manner.

  21. Monitors necessary inventory levels and facilitates supply and collateral orders.

  22. Continuously updates information as necessary on current winners, jackpots and giveaways.

  23. Provides training to Casino staff in use of computers and corresponding software applications to enhance player development and customer service efforts.

  24. Maintains complete confidentiality at all times, exercising appropriate discretion in producing and providing information in producing and providing information contained in the database.

  25. Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino and encourage others to do the same.
