Lighthouse Technology Services is seeking a Head of Client Services Technology for a direct hire  opportunity in Wilmington, Delaware.  


Responsibilities Include:



  • Provide the talent, the leadership experience, and the expertise to lead ICS Technology through this journey.

  • Contribute to an innovative team of leading tech experts, pushing boundaries, and taking risks.

  • Be a part of agile team of the most skilled and creative workers to solve complex problems, architect solutions, write high-performance software, and chart our new path, all to make the lives of our customers, and the communities that we serve, better.

  • Lead the agile cross-functional technology team in Wilmington Trust’s Institutional Clients Services line of business.

  • This  is a highly visible role and will require a leader to build/expand on the current IT team supporting the ICS group, which is the fastest growing and most profitable business  on a margin basis.

  • Technology is a major component of ICS’s ability to go to market and win. The technology team has a sizable software engineering capability and pragmatically leverages vendor platforms when appropriate.

  • Continue to grow to keep pace with high rates of business expansion and profitability.

  • Familiarity with institutional services and agile software development is a must.

  • Build Technology Divisional strategy across departments with peers and Technology senior management leaders.

  • Work with senior management outside Technology to build positive client relationship to support the delivery of complex technology projects and activities.

  • Manage multiple Technology departments for all financial, compliance, human resources and risk operations with the departments.

  • Monitor technology direction of the industry and vendor applications specific to areas and businesses supported.

  • Manage supporting research and initiation of change to the status quo when necessary to ensure implementation of appropriate technologies.

  • Manage vendor/product analyses and recommendations to ensure delivery of the most appropriate end product based on available resources, inclusive of budget.

  • Manage strategic relationships with vendors and professional organizations to remain current on industry trends and best practices for supported systems and businesses.

  • Oversee systems development activities of assigned teams, including assignment of staff to various projects and ensure their timely completion within budget.

  • Oversee the implementation of technology consistent with Division's standards and long-range plans, seeking opportunities to leverage these across other teams as applicable.

  • Ensure activities managed adhere to all Department and Technology standards and procedures, including all documentation requirements to protect interests and serve as a reference source.

  • Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.

  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.

  • Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.


Required Qualifications:

 


  • A minimum of 14 years technology management or large program leadership experience.


  • Prior experience leading large numbers of employees (100+) on multiple teams often in different geographic locations and time zones

  • Prior experience working on multiple projects of a complex nature



  • Understanding of technical, business and operational impacts of a project or problem

  • Expertise in presenting to senior management

  • Extensive application, product knowledge experience with skills, application(s) and function of the technology area being led

  • Understanding of applications supported with an advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications

  • Understanding of multiple business area's functions

  • Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities from a project management perspective

  • Experience with skills, application(s) and functions of the technology area

  • Understands businesses supported and its' terminology



  • Prior experience effectively using project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications

  • Experience on large system enhancements, conversions, and production problem resolution

  • Complete understanding of the system development life cycle

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for new account acquisition in multiple distribution channels; specifically targeting financial institutions, banks/credit unions, independent broker-dealers, personal finance application providers, RIA networks, financial planning firms and other strategic channels.

  • Develops target list of corporate targets that’s focused on key decision makers at the target firms; including head of wealth management, head of insurance, chief digital officer, head of compliance, etc.

  • Responsible for cultivating new accounts through multiple methods; including direct sales contacts, managing a growth/digital marketing program, attending industry events, etc.

  • Responsible for promoting the Covr platforms: Advisor, Consumer, Insights, and carrier solutions to firms.

The Head of CRM will report directly to the VP of US Marketing and will partner with a wide range of business and technology stakeholders across the company. As a senior leader in the marketing department, the Head of CRM will use their deep expertise to maintain accountability for all customer relationship and lifecycle marketing for Tipico as we expand our footprint across the US.


Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:



  • Build the US retention marketing function from the ground up. This individual will effectively lead and direct the “art” and “science” of our customer relationship marketing strategy, enthusiastically championing CRM concepts and examples of success to senior leaders in all aspects of the business.

  • As the CRM and retention SME in the US, provide expertise, vision and leadership to define and implement customer relationship marketing programs and initiatives that successfully build profitable, long-term customer relationships across our sportsbook and casino brands in all channels.

  • Provide strategic direction for tools and technology to support the implementation and execution of the customer relationship marketing strategy.

  • Build and lead the team that defines and executes multi-channel, multi-product and multi-state marketing programs that cost-effectively increase the value of our customer relationships.

  • Lead and manage a robust retention campaign planning framework and bonus/promotional budgeting process to efficiently deliver on CRM and marketing department KPIs.

  • Partner with the marketing acquisition team to manage bonus budgeting and welcome offer plans. Develop effective journeys to nurture leads and convert them into First Time Depositors.

  • CRM/Retention content and creative management. The Head of CRM will maintain a close relationship with marketing and communication partners to ensure US brand alignment across all customer touchpoints. Develop an intimate understanding of brand nuances, category and seasonal marketing priorities.

  • Lead, develop and execute the design and implementation of a customer segmentation system and targeting for each of our products. Identify customer lifecycles, calculate LTV and develop key customer segments.

  • Partner with data and business intelligence teams to champion database marketing analytics, such as statistical modeling, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, and other analytical techniques to improve customer retention engagement and loyalty.

  • Drive test-and-learn initiatives plus A/B tests within CRM activity, and across the marketing department.

  • Ensure the best possible customer experience during the whole lifecycle from registration to becoming and maintaining VIP status.

  • Deliver a customer centric VIP strategy with a strong sales focus.

  • Work closely with the Sportsbook Product team and Customer Service team to ensure a well-coordinated player experience and fast solutions to player queries.

  • Hire, lead, coach and mentor a talented team of CRM employees.

  • Maximize the team effectiveness by increasing automations and making best use of available tools.

  • Ensure all communications meet legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications


  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant working experience in a similar role in the areas of CRM and VIP, preferable in the Online Wagering industry

  • Experience in creating and continuously improving customer segmentation, automations and CRM lifecycles

  • Experience performing A/B tests with a strong ability to turn the outcomes into new actions

  • Knowledge in leading a multi-channel communication strategy, including channels like email, SMS, website, push, phone, direct mail

  • A strategic thinker, but also willing to roll up your sleeves to execute in a lean and agile start-up environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated track record of problem solving and advanced analytical skills

  • Responsible for promoting the Covr platforms: Advisor, Consumer, Insights, and carrier solutions to firms.

  • Responsible for working in partnership with CEO and head of sales to disrupt existing relationships.

  • Responsible for overseeing Covr’s pricing methodology and demonstrating ROI for our target firms.

  • Responsible for providing market feedback and competitive intelligence to Covr leadership team.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:



Required Education, Experience, and Knowledge:



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or any equivalent combination of education/experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Insurance/Financial Services and corporate level selling and/or relationship management

  • Must understand B2B pricing models, sales cycle (i.e., engagement letter, configuration, delivery, and rollout), and strategic alliances

  • Must understand and be able to navigate the due diligence and vendor review process

  • Must have a strong understanding of life insurance and asset-based long-term care solutions as part of an overall financial plan

  • Must have a dynamic and compelling professional appearance

  • CLU, ChFC, insurance license, and FINRA Series 6/7/63 helpful

• Having 1 to 5 years of sales or business development experience representing complex life science products and/or services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostics companies.
