Things We Are Looking For

Education/Experience



  • Bachelors Degree in graphic design or a related field preferred

  • At least two (2) years in graphic design experience in marketing or ad agency environment, including digital design expertise


Software



  • Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint

  • Microsoft Office365 Collaboration Tools



Skills



  • Multi-tasking and meeting deadlines

  • Own design projects from concept to execution

  • Maintain consistency in projects within graphic standards guidelines

  • Excellent understanding of typography and layout design

  • Aptitude for learning new technologies

  • Superior attention to detail

  • Proficiency in web technologies, ie HTML, CSS and Javascript

  • Understanding of motion graphics techniques

  • UX experience a plus

  • Proficiency in email design and HTML/CSS (ability to code emails)

  • Full knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent and responsive HTML/CSS coding of email templates

  • Design responsive mobile, tablet, desktop, and web client email

  • Proficiency in email marketing software (such as Marketo) a plus

This is an onsite 3-month freelance opportunity.

The Job:



  • Create on-brand designs for various print and digital merchandising and ecommerce campaigns (POP, posters, OOH, etc.)

  • Assist with general retouching efforts

  • Work with internal marketing teams to develop content for sweepstakes and special promotions

  • Align all creative with brand guidelines and general aesthetic

  • Ensure all design deliverables are completed on time and within budget; deliver final assets to web developer


 


Requirements:



  • At least 5+ years of design experience within a marketing and/or design environment; lifestyle or ecommerce background a plus!

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, and/or Flash a plus

  • Extensive experience in typography, as well as graphic and web design

  • Stellar communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Self-motivated and proactive workstyle; meticulous attention to detail and deadlines

Role
• Concept, develop and execute visually stunning designs for web and other digital platforms
• Production, organizing, and cataloging of site assets
• Collaborate with designers, managers, and other stakeholders for feedback
• Collaborate closely with the Content Programming teams on a daily basis
• Assist with real-time problem solving of design issues
• Set and achieve high creative standards that meet the expectations of the Client brand
• Work closely with and align their work to their leaders' goals and expectations

Portfolio Requirements
• Demonstrated skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (After Effects is a plus)
• Demonstrated understanding of composition, typography, and color usage
• Sampling of static digital creations—preferably along the lines of logos, original graphics (patterns, editorial-like illustrations, etc.), ad suites, or branded website placements
