-Basic knowledge of graphic design softwares such as InDesign and Photoshop and the willingness to learn (for Graphic Designer Intern)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  


  • Design all marketing materials; including but not limited to digital presentations, boards, posters, books, leave-behinds 

  • Manage, design, and execute award submissions

  • Coordinate public relations and communications efforts, pitch news items and projects for publication

  • Manage and update existing social media platforms

  • Maintain and update all marketing collateral and photography portfolio, digital and print

  • Act as liaison between photographers and publications to ensure proper usage rights and fees 

  • Design, write and implement email marketing campaigns

  • Manage website maintenance and updates 

  • Work with Principals on incoming RFQs/RFPs. Provide design production, printing, binding and shipping of the actual proposal 

  • Work with Principals to field, research and track project leads

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE: 


  • Excellent graphic design skills and sensibility

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

JOB SUMMARY


Adomni is looking for a talented Graphic Designer who can conceive and implement visual marketing pieces that range from marketing emails to social media posts to on-site graphics and copy. Additional scope of work includes the direction and/or implementation of short video clips and animations. Printed media development is a small portion of the job. The Graphic Designer’s primary responsibility is to develop engaging collateral that tells a story and elicits an emotional response from Adomni’s primary clients – advertisers and media board owners. The in-house team is small (5 - 7 people) and you will work very closely with the Director of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Manage the creative process from concept to completion


  2. Translate sales, marketing and branding objectives into clear creative strategies


  3. Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, particularly alongside the Marketing and Business Development Manager and Adomni’s outside agency of record


  4. Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all sales, marketing and branding collateral


  5. Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met


  6. Meet with upper management to review and explain campaign strategies and solutions


  7. Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to others involved in the creative process



 


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS



  1. Strong communication and computer skills


  2. Strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.


  3. Experience performing or managing a range of creative positions, such as graphic designer, art director and copywriter


  4. Expert knowledge of the business side of design is a major plus


  5. Stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving and project-management skills


  6. Ability to inspire creativity and work well with different personality types


  7. Ability to comfortably juggle various projects simultaneously


  8. Ability to consistently deliver work on-time, in a deadline oriented environment.


  9. Experience using Asana software for project management and Mailchimp software for email marketing is a PLUS


  10. Experience using Wordpress is also a huge PLUS



 


EXPERIENCE



  1. 5-8+ years of relevant work experience is a prerequisite.


  2. Past experience in a startup, software company or advertising company is a plus.

Prepares plates use in offset printing and visually examines plates for quality, content and verifies they are free of defect.


Responsibilities:


·       Produces press plates using current platemaking technology


·       Inspects completed proofs and plates for quality and content; visually examines plates for defects and delivers plates meeting established criteria


·       Compares measurements and appearance of plates to prepress proofs and vinyls to verify accuracy of positioning and presence of artwork and type for each color


·       Understands plate layouts, dies and the plate making process and theory


·       Preps rerun jobs by pulling and inspecting standing plates


·       Requests vinyls and blankets as needed


·       Pull production samples as requested by planning staff


·       Maintains production flow by staying on schedule


·       Works independently to meet schedule demands


·       Understands job ticket and verbal instructions


·       Follows established procedures and applies general technical standards and concepts


·       Performs daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on equipment
