  • Roles and Responsibilities

  • The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

  • Comfortable working on a high-stress, quick turn-around, multiple deadline project.

  • It is imperative that candidate must be able to work fast while maintaining ATTENTION to detail. Each image must be pixel perfect and many will need minor editing or modification. We will be processing thousands of images.

  • Part of candidates duties will include adding interactivity to images using a proprietary software tool.

  • Candidate must be able to quickly learn new software.

  • The learning curve for this process is intense and candidate must be able to understand and implement new techniques, and use new software quickly.

 Duties will include the following:

  • Provide high-quality (pixel perfect) deliverables

  • Take screenshots of software in English, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, French

  • Use Photoshop to edit screenshots (the same way in each language)

  • Resize images

  • Stitch multiple screenshots together to simulate scrolling or other movement

  • Fix or Edit screenshots

  • Maintain graphic standards

  • Have a pixel perfect attention to detail

  • Remove or amend certain on-screen data

  • Use proprietary software to add interactivity and build a simulation of the original software

  • Import images into software

  • Overlay image maps as invisible buttons

  • Link buttons to new screen

  • This software is new and does not have extensive documentation

  • Candidate will be given hands-on training on how to use the software

  • Work in an All Mac environment

  • File and asset management in a shared server Mac environment

  • Work on secure computers using a VPN 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a major in Design preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a designer or web designer in a corporate / industry setting (either in house or as a freelancer)

  • Ability to self-manage with minimal direction

  • Strong verbal and written communication skill

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill

  • Ability to work independently and in team

  • Proven ability to solve problems creativel

  • Extremely resourceful

 Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Expert in Photoshop, to be able to crop, resize, create seamless adjustments to an image

  • Expert in Mac software and ecosystem

  • Understanding of web markup, including HTML, CSS, and image mapping buttons

  • Quickly adapt and learn new software

Job Description

Seeking a Digital Graphic Designer for an apparel brand located in Los Angeles. This individual must be committed to producing high-quality, user-centered digital experiences, which at their core are about converting web traffic to transactions.

The right candidate will be a high-quality designer with a solid understanding of user experience, responsive web and messaging hierarchy, and A/B testing. Successful collaboration with cross-channel managers including web developers, product managers, art directors and video producers is also a must.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce the design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics & banners, static and rich banner ads

  • Translate product positioning, existing research, and online/offline marketing strategies into effective designs

  • Work with Art Director and Digital Marketing Managers to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs

  • Work with internal developers to ensure aesthetics also are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards

  • Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning

  • Translate wireframes into simple, easy-to-use User Interfaces

  • Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points

  • Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics

  • Stay abreast on best practices and latest trends in responsive design, mobile optimization, and user experience

  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or inhouse web team for a product-driven business

  • Able to provide examples of digital work for direct response commerce or digital subscription technology highly desired

  • Online portfolio of high-quality digital design demonstrating a mastery of typography, color usage, and composition

  • Strong work ethic and personal accountability
