Enriching Lives is looking for caring individuals of all skill sets and backgrounds to become Family Home Providers for adults with developmental disabilities your own home.

As a Family Home Provider you will receive a tax free stipend of $1400-$2300/month per Individual and you can serve a maximum of 2 Individuals in your home increasing your earning potential to $2800-$4600/month. The amount of the stipend depends on the support needs of each Individual and how much care they need. The more support they need, the higher the monthly stipend. Most Individuals fall in the middle of the rate range.

The most important quality of a Family Home Provider is a commitment to the well-being and personal growth of the Individuals they care for. We are looking for caregivers who are in alignment with our mission and values. Enriching Lives is committed to providing each Individual we serve a caring family environment where they receive the supports they need to reach their goals and to grow into the best version of themselves.

Family Home Providers can come from all different ethnic backgrounds, skills sets, education, neighborhood settings and family constellations. Experience in the social service field, as a caregiver, mental health worker, Psych Tech, CNA, or RN is a plus, but is not required. Enriching Lives provides classes at no charge to potential Family Home Providers to prepare them to be caregivers in their own home.

Family Home Providers are responsible for providing care and supervision to 1-2 adults with developmental disabilities such as Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Autism, or Traumatic Brain Injury. More information about developmental disabilities is available on our website. Individuals may also have additional physical or mental health support needs.

Individual’s ages range from 18-65 years and their needs vary from high functioning, fairly independent Individuals to those who have total physical care needs or behavior support needs. Most Individuals participate in a school or day program during the day, although Family Home Providers are still responsible for being available during the day if needed.

You will receive support from Enriching Lives to assist you in providing services in your own home such as initial and continuing education, the support of a multidisciplinary team, 24 hour on call professional support, and overnight relief support. Enriching Lives staff will visit you and the Individual regularly to provide support and ensure that the Individual’s goals are being met.

At a minimum, you must have 1-2 spare bedrooms, a safe and pleasant living environment, reliable transportation, a high school diploma or GED and a designated backup Family Home Provider. All adult members of the household and frequent visitors to the home must have a clear criminal history and a DMV record without any major violations.

Enriching Lives is highly committed to making successful matches and placements in the home of people who become Family Home Providers with our agency. While there are never guarantees for placements, our success rate is extremely high. We honestly evaluate you and only move forward in certifying you if we are confident that you will receive a match and be successful in our program. Our goal is to create a long term and mutually beneficial relationship with our Family Home Providers.

SUMMARY:


We are seeking an experienced and highly creative licensed Architect to join the team in our Rocklin office to be the creative force behind the architectural designs of our development projects in the greater Sacramento area. Working in a team environment and as directed by the Engineering
Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out the architectural designs from initial concepts through to generation of construction, shop, and detail drawings for use in the field.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:


• Will report directly to Engineering Manager and be directed by BEM Executive Management as necessary


EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (duties may include, but are not limited to, the following):


• Producing 3D conceptual architectural designs for use in presentations, submittals, etc.
• Producing complete architectural design packages for building permit application submittals
for ground up development and tenant improvement projects in the Sacramento area


• Producing complete 2D construction and shop drawing packages for submission to clients, municipal planning and building departments, sub-contractors, utility agencies, etc.


• Visiting project sites to gather background information, site photographs, witness/oversee construction activities, etc.


• Attending in-house and out-of-office client meetings


• Participating in in-house and out-of-office project team coordination meetings


REQUIREMENTS (a successful candidate will possess a capacity for the following):


• Working effectively in a fast-paced team environment


• A high level of attention to detail across all job functions


• Communicating clearly and professionally by written and verbal means


• Representing the organization responsibly and professionally before clients, municipalities,
sub-contractors, etc.


• Completing tasks on schedule in the absence of constant supervision
• Reading and interpreting complex architectural plans, civil engineering plans, structural engineering plans, MEP plans, etc.
• Reading and gleaning requirements from design specifications, building codes, municipal ordinances, etc.
• Problem solving independently when help is not immediately available
• Understanding project schedules, commitments and demonstrating confidence in communicating status and estimated completion dates


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


• Minimum 5 years demonstrable professional work experience in AEC industry working in architectural capacity required
• B.S. degree in Architecture required
• CA Board license strongly preferred


• Experience with structural insulated panel (SIP) construction strongly preferred
• Clean driving record and valid CA driver’s license required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:


• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2013 or higher (currently using 2018 in-house)
• Proficiency in Revit 2018 or higher


• Proficiency in SketchUp Pro
• Experience with green building techniques is strongly preferred


• Experience applying and or witnessing general construction techniques is preferred
• Experience with surveying techniques is beneficial but not required

Assignment & Description of Duties: Social Work position to work in the various Social Work Programs.


Duties include:


· We are seeking someone who will float amongst the various Social Work Programs as needed where vacancies arise. These programs may include: Inpatient Medical, Outpatient Medical, Traumatic Brain Injury, Caregiver Support Program, Transition Care Management (recently separated transitioning Veterans), Homeless Programs, and others as needed.


 


· Duties may include: assessment and referrals, providing short-term case management (face to face and phone), telephone coverage of Hotline Programs, screenings for the various programs, detailed documentation, attending and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, reaching out to Veterans and their families, assisting with various program documents/applications as needed and duties as they arise.


Hours: up to 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


 


Desired Qualification/Experiences:


 


· Licensed Clinical Social Worker


· Ability to work and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds as well as ability to engage individuals who may be withdrawn or aggressive.


· Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.


· Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.


· Experience with working with Veterans with mental health, substance abuse, and medical conditions


· Self-starter and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
